In the vast and boundless borderlands of the Orc Kingdom, a group of heavily armored human soldiers struggled to drag another group of bound orcs. They clutched rough hemp ropes tightly in their hands, their heavy and hurried steps pounding toward the distant coastline.
"Everyone, put in more effort! We need to move fast; if those orc tribes catch up to us, we're done for!" Kuiradi shouted breathlessly over his shoulder to the panting soldiers behind him. Beads of sweat dotted his forehead, streaming down his cheeks, but he dared not pause for even a moment.
The slave-capturing operation had originally been planned smoothly; according to the initial strategy, they only needed to capture a few ordinary orcs to complete their mission. However, what no one expected was that on the very day they made their move on that small orc tribe, it was hosting a significant banquet attended by nobles from the Bloodhoof Tribe.
It is well known that the Bloodhoof Tribe is one of the most powerful tribes in the entire Orc Kingdom, renowned for its formidable combat strength. Faced with the sudden invasion by human aggressors, how could these orcs simply stand by? Thus, an intense battle erupted instantly.
Despite Kuiradi leading his men valiantly into combat, the unexpected nature of the attack and the strength of the enemy quickly led to a stalemate. Especially notable was the noble from the Bloodhoof Tribe who spearheaded the resistance, displaying remarkable bravery and tenacity. In desperation, Kuiradi commanded his subordinates to launch a volley of javelins in an attempt to suppress the enemy's offensive.
Little did they know that this seemingly ordinary tactical maneuver would lead to unforeseen severe consequences—the noble from the Bloodhoof Tribe was tragically struck by a stray arrow and killed on the spot! This incident undoubtedly stirred up a massive hornet's nest for Kuiradi's team.
In a furious response, the Bloodhoof Tribe quickly summoned elite troops to pursue them, including fearsome Wolf Riders, massive Kodo Beast Riders, stealthy Shadow Hunters skilled in assassination, and immensely powerful Giant Bear Warriors.
Faced with this pack of relentless and vicious pursuers, Kuiradi and his men had no choice but to give it their all and flee for their lives. Their breaths came in rapid gasps like a bellows, each inhalation seeming to carry searing flames that scorched their throats and lungs.
If it weren't for Kuiradi's team being composed of strong Transcendent Knights and half-step Transcendent Knights, they would have likely been completely overwhelmed and annihilated by such fierce pursuit. Yet even with such a formidable lineup, prolonged resistance was taking its toll on them.
Although the entire team had not suffered significant casualties thus far, everyone's mental state was on the brink of collapse. The extended flight had their nerves stretched to the limit, as if they could snap at any moment. If this torment continued much longer, it wouldn't be long before someone collapsed from sheer exhaustion.
Amidst their desperate sprinting, a glimmer of hope finally appeared ahead—a massive sailing ship quietly docked beside the shore.
"Hahaha! This is it! Just two thousand more meters and we’ll reach the ship. Once we’re aboard, those wretched orcs won’t be able to touch us!" Upon seeing that ship, Kuiradi felt an unexpected surge of strength flood through his weary body; his legs, which felt as heavy as lead just moments ago, suddenly seemed infused with boundless energy as he picked up speed.
