"Brother, how can I possibly take on this responsibility?"
John's eyes widened in disbelief, his face a mask of incredulity. He never imagined that his usually composed older brother would humbly make such a request.
Fifty-fifty split? What kind of international joke is this! He had merely intended to lend a hand and conduct a straightforward transaction, never expecting that he would be asked to give away half the benefits.
On the other hand, Redman was not joking at all. His gaze was sharp as he fixed his eyes on John and the ten elite guards behind him. After careful observation, he was inwardly astonished.
He could clearly sense the powerful aura emanating from these guards, which was on par with his own. Undoubtedly, they were all Transcendent-level warriors. Looking at John himself, he noticed that he too possessed the unique aura characteristic of someone with Transcendent abilities.
Could it be that this kid is the protagonist of the legendary knight's tale, blessed with extraordinary fortune? Redman quickly calculated in his mind. Despite his words of refusal, deep down John felt tempted by this unexpected windfall.

Redman looked at John with a serious expression. His strong hand waved decisively as if to indicate that this matter was settled and there was no room for John to decline any further. However, things were far from straightforward.
"Little brother," he continued, "you should know that the six Barony territories surrounding us are eyeing this iron mine greedily! As you know, my family has found itself in a difficult position due to previous missteps and cannot intervene in this matter conveniently. And relying solely on my strength to deal with these six families is truly beyond my capabilities." Redman sighed helplessly, his brow furrowed tightly.
