As for what happens after becoming a legend, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure. However, according to the precious texts passed down in our family, the next level above legend should be Sanctuary. It is said that once one enters Sanctuary, the strength exhibited by knights surpasses that of mages by a significant margin.
John was curious about how far Redman had progressed. "Brother, are you close to achieving Epic? I remember you were almost at Transcendent, right?"
Redman shook his head. "Not yet. The Knight's Flower isn't so easily unlocked, and you can't judge a person's strength solely by the level of their Knight Seed. Each family has different training methods."
After a pause, Redman continued, "Take my training compared to Heide and the others. The White Family's training methods are much better than theirs; I accumulate power faster and more effectively at the same level, making me stronger."
"For example, the method you're currently practicing is a universal training method. Once you gather eighty drops of Universal Qi, you'll break through to Transcendent. Heide and Leon might be slightly better than you—around ninety drops—but your older brother has condensed thirteen drops of talent."
John nodded along as he listened to Redman, quietly thinking to himself that he had already reached eighty drops but still wasn't enough. He estimated he needed at least a hundred drops to break through to Transcendent. The Holy Light Fighting Training Method provided by the template was far superior to what Redman was practicing.
"Brother, please continue," John urged.
Redman shot him an annoyed look and said, "Haven't you noticed that the wine is gone? You should refill it."
"Ha ha! I'm all ears; let me refill it for you. This is fine wine I bought from outside—Juniper Honey Mead, a rare find."
Saying this, John took the wine flask from his waist and filled Redman's cup.
Redman sniffed the aroma of the wine and took a small sip. "Now that's more like it. Let me continue."
John quickly perked up his ears; if Redman didn't share this information, he would have no easy way to find out.
"Where was I? Ah, forget it. You need to understand that within the same realm, some people are like ceilings while others are like floor tiles. Experts can cut down weaker opponents in their realm as easily as chopping vegetables. So if you ever get your hands on better training methods, don’t hesitate—swap out what you're using now."
"I'll remember that," John replied, knowing that Redman was looking out for him.
Redman reminded him again, "You're still young, and you stepped into Half-Step Transcendent earlier than I did. Unfortunately, without family support, I don't know when you'll become Transcendent. But remember: if you don't achieve Transcendent by thirty-five, your chances are slim; if you haven't become Epic by sixty, you'll likely remain Transcendent for life."
"I understand, brother. I'll train hard and not let you down," John said earnestly as he carefully poured more fine wine into Redman's cup. He hoped that by keeping Redman drinking, he might learn something new that he didn't already know.
Today’s conversation was quite good; otherwise, how would he know what Sanctuary means? And what level the Holy Light Fighting Training Method that comes with his profession template belongs to? Now, his enthusiasm for training is even stronger.
