Having confirmed the first island, John felt the urgency to move faster; the sun was already getting low, and there were still four small islands left to explore. 0

"We need to pick up the pace," he said. "It would be great if the remaining four islands were like this one." 0

Kuiradi, holding his nose, expressed his discomfort with this island. "My lord, I don’t know what makes you happy. Perhaps this soil has great value, but I really don’t like it—no, I really don’t like it at all." 0

John understood his companion's feelings. The smell of excrement was indeed foul, but he added, "Kuiradi, if you knew how much these things could be worth, you’d appreciate them a lot more in the future." 0

Kuiradi didn’t argue; instead, he hurriedly pulled a raft from the island and rowed it into the sea by himself without any soldiers' help. 0

Upon reaching the second island, Kuiradi finally began to regain his composure after a long silence. "Phew, this island is much better. There’s no strange smell here; I feel like I can finally breathe." 0

"What would you do if I stationed you on that guano island?" John asked mischievously. 0

Kuiradi felt helpless. He wanted to retort but was faced with his lord; in the end, he could only respond quietly, "My lord, you are the boss; I will listen to you." 0

"Hahaha!" John laughed as he walked ahead. He patted Kuiradi on the shoulder and reassured him, "Don’t worry; you’re my trusted aide. How could I possibly leave you on that bird poop island?" 0

Hearing that John was joking, Kuiradi finally relaxed. As long as he wasn’t sent to that island, he vowed not to drink for a week—no, not even for three days. 0

Having walked a distance ahead, John noticed Kuiradi hadn’t caught up and called out from the front, "Hurry up! What are you thinking about?" 0

Evening came. 0

With heavy and exhausted bodies, John and his soldiers finally reached the last island of their journey. Looking up at the sky, he saw the sun beginning to set, painting the horizon in shades of orange and red. Estimating the time in his mind, John thought it unwise to delve deeper into this island at such an hour. 0

"Alright, brothers," he commanded. "Let’s take out the food we brought and cook it. We’ll rest here tonight." As he issued orders, he found a comfortable spot to sit down slowly. 0

Soon enough, a roaring campfire blazed to life, its warm glow illuminating everyone’s faces. The soldiers removed their heavy helmets and lay back on the ground, gazing up at the bright full moon in the night sky. 0

Stars twinkled like dazzling gems embedded in a black canvas. The pristine beauty of the unpolluted night sky captivated everyone present. 0

John slowly sat up, his gaze drifting towards the nearby forest. Countless fireflies danced in the air like tiny lanterns, their faint glow intertwining to create a dreamlike scene. 0

How beautiful! John couldn't help but exclaim in heartfelt admiration. 0
