Standing in front of the tree stump, Iman guided John through a series of experiments with the spells she had learned. 0

First was the Zi Feng, the green light John had seen in the tent, which helped plants grow rapidly while alleviating fatigue. Next was the Web Technique, which created a web to entangle enemies; however, it wasn't very strong, and John found that it wouldn't hold anyone for long. The only offensive spell, the Starfire Technique, seemed to be one Iman hadn't practiced much. It took her a long time to cast, and its damage was comparable to throwing a spear, with just a bit of burning effect added. 0

Iman's eyes widened as she stared at the mess created by her spell. A wave of embarrassment washed over her. She slowly lowered her head, unable to meet John's gaze for fear of seeing disappointment or disdain in his eyes. After all, this meager damage was hardly impressive for someone eager to prove their worth. 0

"I'm sorry," she said timidly, her voice barely above a whisper. "This is all I can do right now. According to my memories, these spells are called Huan Fa Shu, and they might not be very powerful." 0

To her surprise, John showed no sign of dissatisfaction or contempt. Instead, he smiled and gently patted Iman's shoulder, offering words of comfort. 0

"It's okay, Iman. This is normal. You should know that you've done exceptionally well!" 0

In truth, John didn't care about Iman's current strength. He understood that a powerful magic user was about to emerge under his guidance—one who had awakened their abilities through self-discovery. Given enough time and resources for growth and training, she would surely embark on the path of a Transcendent and become someone remarkable. 0

According to the brilliant narratives he had read in novels, anyone capable of self-awakening was invariably a gifted genius. Moreover, Iman was only a year younger than John—just barely in her teens—yet she appeared more mature than many of her peers. 0

With this thought in mind, John shook his head vigorously, trying to divert his thoughts from Iman's youthful yet captivating face. But the more he tried, the clearer her image became in his mind, even triggering some unusual reactions in his body. 0

"Oh no," he thought to himself. "I can't let my mind wander like this; my body might not handle it." 0

"Iman," he said firmly but kindly, "focus on your training. One day you will be my Head Maid." 0

"Yes!" Iman replied joyfully. 0

Iman had no particular interest in the position of Head Maid; she was simply happy because of her feelings for John. 0
