"No need to refill the tea, thank you. It's already enough," John quickly reached out to stop the servant who was about to pour him another cup, forcing a smile. 0

He knew very well that if he continued drinking, he would soon find himself making frequent trips to the restroom. 0

Just as John was about to ask the servant why Luni had not returned yet, a hearty laughter echoed through the room. Turning around, he saw Luni entering with a young man who appeared to be around seventeen or eighteen years old. 0

"Hahaha, dear Knight Lord, thank you for your patience!" Luni laughed heartily. 0

"Not at all, I just arrived myself. I must say, the tea here is truly fragrant and delightful," John replied, trying to maintain a calm demeanor as he slowly stood up to greet Luni. He discreetly inquired, "But may I ask who this young man is?" 0

"This is Das; come greet your future Knight Lord," Luni said, pulling the young man forward to stand before John. 0

Das trembled slightly, his face filled with fear as he awkwardly performed a clumsy and somewhat improper bow. Lowering his head, he spoke in a barely audible voice, "M-my lord, my name is Das. I am a Blacksmith Apprentice." 0

Luni quickly interjected to explain. "I apologize, Lord John. This child Das is just too shy and timid; he gets scared easily. You see, it took quite a bit of persuasion with President Van Helsing to secure this Blacksmith Apprentice for you!" 0

As Luni spoke, he emphasized the difficulty of the task, seemingly wanting to highlight his own pivotal role and importance in the matter. 0

John smiled slightly, understanding the implication as he nodded in reassurance. "Don't worry, Luni; I appreciate your efforts. If I have any future procurement needs, I will certainly think of you first." 0

With that, John casually placed a shiny gold coin into Luni's outstretched hand. 0

Upon receiving the coin, Luni beamed with joy and hurriedly thanked John. 0

At this moment, John's attention returned to the still-nervous Das. He gently asked, "Das, right? What skills do you have in blacksmithing?" 0

Faced with John's sudden question, Das's face turned crimson. His words stumbled over each other as if his tongue had tied itself in knots; he struggled for what felt like an eternity without managing to form a complete sentence. 0

His mind went blank as he couldn't comprehend why he had been brought here so suddenly after just minding his own business at the forge, only to be told that he had been sold to this intimidating-looking master before him. The thought made Das increasingly anxious. 0

After a moment of hesitation, Das finally mustered some courage and stammered out, "I-I can make Iron Ingots." 0

Seeing Das's struggle was painful for Luni; he quickly jumped in to assist. "This Das here can indeed forge Iron Ingots and also repair farming tools and weapons. He’s definitely the best choice according to your requirements." 0

John understood now that this was just an ordinary Blacksmith Apprentice. He decided not to dwell on it too much. 0

"Alright, I get it. But how much do I owe you?" 0

Finally getting down to business, Luni held up three fingers. 0

"Thirty gold coins; that's my final offer." 0

Thirty gold coins, John finally understood what it meant to be a skilled worker. For that price, he could buy a Serf or fund a small portion of his soldiers. 0

Alright then, Kuiradi pays. 0

Once the money was in the other party's hands, John had no intention of lingering. He bid farewell to Luni, hoping to meet again someday. 0

Watching John turn to leave, Das hurriedly followed. Although he didn't know what kind of person his boss was, it couldn't hurt to keep up with him. 0
