Clang! Bang! Crash!
With a swift kick, the Goblin Chief struck John's spear, causing it to snap under the force of the giant axe. John was sent flying, his feet carving two deep grooves in the ground.
Gripping the broken spear with both hands to steady himself, he looked up at the Goblin Chief wielding the massive axe. After their brief exchanges, John realized there wasn't much difference between them; in terms of strength and stamina, he actually had the advantage due to his template.
What he lacked were proper weapons and that overwhelming magical power. Unlike the knights who utilized the Universal Qi Training Method, the magical beasts and creatures were infused with a more ferocious type of magic.
Damn it, they’re taking advantage of me not having good weapons!
In a flash, John flipped through his template pages in his mind, and a card shot out, landing in his hand. This was the Treasure summoned from the Lord template in its second month.

Effect: Summons a squad of Shining Gold Town Infantry, a defensive infantry unit capable of blocking incoming enemies.
The squad consists of elite soldiers (Half-Step Transcendent) and can exist for half an hour.
John didn't want to resort to this, but seeing Kuiradi and Master being held back, and glancing at the mocking Goblin Chief before him—how dare that Goblin Chief laugh at him?

With a burst of golden light, a ten-man squad of Shining Gold Town Infantry appeared before John.
The Goblin Chief stared at the sudden wall of soldiers in front of him, confusion swirling in his small mind. What was this?
He just wanted to kill someone, maybe capture some human women as breeding machines. What was this show about? If he wanted his life, he could just say so; did it really need to be like this?
(Goblin Language) "Are you even human?"
Although John couldn't understand what was being said, he could tell it was something vulgar.
"Go ahead and say your last words; don’t worry, I won’t let you die alone!"
The guards from Shining Gold Town drew their one-handed swords with grins on their faces as they surrounded the Goblin Chief.
Hee hee hee! Ha ha ha!
(Goblin Language) "No! I’m still just a child!"
As the guards closed in on him, the Goblin Chief reminisced about his lost youth—back when he was small and once stole a farmer's radish only to be chased for ages by an angry woman wielding a pitchfork.
The radish was so sweet, so salty, and had a hint of abalone flavor. I really want to eat that radish again, but unfortunately, I can't get it anymore.
