However, this good mood didn’t last long. Just as he reached the entrance, a familiar figure froze him in place. Class Flower? He could hardly believe his eyes. After months apart, Class Flower seemed like a completely different person. With heavy makeup, exaggerated earrings, and an outfit that screamed rebellion, she looked like a troubled girl.
What shocked him even more was that she was surrounded by several yellow-haired delinquents who were addressing her as "big sister" with an unsettling familiarity. Ye Jingtai, the troublemaker from the neighboring class, had one arm draped around Class Flower, wearing a lewd grin as he whispered something indecent in her ear.
This scene made Mu Yunze feel nauseous. Once upon a time, Class Flower enjoyed playing with emotions but at least maintained the image of a top student goddess on the surface. Now, she resembled a rose tainted by mud, losing all her former brilliance.
He intended to pretend he hadn’t seen them and turn away. But Class Flower spotted him first.
“Oh, isn’t this our Young Master Mu?” Ye Jingtai’s mocking voice rang out, accompanied by a disdainful smirk. He cast a sideways glance at Mu Yunze, his eyes filled with provocation. “What’s wrong? Still a lonely soul?”
Mu Yunze suppressed his anger and coldly replied, “This is none of your business.” He didn’t want to get entangled with scum like Ye Jingtai; he just wanted to leave this suffocating place as quickly as possible.
“Oh really? Quite tough!” Ye Jingtai scoffed and signaled to one of his yellow-haired companions. “A Feng, go teach him some manners.”
The thug named A Feng cracked his knuckles and approached Mu Yunze with a fierce expression.
At that moment, Class Flower suddenly grabbed Ye Jingtai’s arm, her tone pleading. “Jingtai, let it go; he helped me before.”
Ye Jingtai frowned in annoyance. “Yao Yao, why are you defending him? This guy looks like nothing but trouble.”
Class Flower bit her lip, her eyes flickering. “Jingtai, I’m begging you; don’t make things difficult for him.”
Though reluctant, Ye Jingtai waved his hand dismissively, signaling A Feng to back off.
“Consider yourself lucky!” He shot Mu Yunze a fierce glare. “If I see you again next time, it won’t be so easy.”
