The Immortal Cave was indeed extraordinary. Ye Xingchen fixed his gaze on the outline of the palace. Within the Immortal Cave, such a resplendent palace must harbor some secret treasures.
The four of them flew towards the palace. Suddenly, a roar echoed as they approached. A Golden Dragon appeared before their eyes, its presence commanding attention.
The Golden Dragon spoke with a low growl, "This is the Cave of Huang Long Shang Xian; you do not belong here."
From the dragon's words, Ye Xingchen understood that this Cave belonged to Huang Long Shang Xian. Although the Celestial being held a relatively low status in the celestial realm, in the mortal realm, he could easily crush anyone beneath him.
As Ye Xingchen pondered this, the Golden Dragon continued, "You have ten breaths to leave the Cave. If you do not depart, you will die!"
As the word "die" fell from its lips, a wave of murderous intent enveloped the Golden Dragon, exuding an immense pressure. Ye Tian and the others felt their bodies tremble slightly under this overwhelming force. The Golden Dragon was indeed formidable.
In Ye Yun's cold gaze, fear flickered. "Step back; I will handle it," Ye Xingchen said slowly.
"Ancestor Ye, we cannot leave you behind!"
Ye Tian remained motionless, for the power of the Golden Dragon was overwhelmingly strong; Ancestor Ye was surely no match for it.
"Enough of the nonsense," Ye Xingchen said, raising his hand slightly. A wave surged forth, pushing Ye Tian and the others backward.
Ying Ziyi's face was filled with worry: she hoped Ancestor Ye could prevail. Ye Yun summoned a sword in her palm, ready to act at a moment's notice if anything happened to Ye Xingchen.
The Golden Dragon looked down at Ye Xingchen, its voice booming, "You are a very courageous person, but your courage is misplaced."
With that, the dragon extended its claw toward Ye Xingchen, a thunderous roar echoing around them.
Ye Xingchen calmly regarded the dragon's claw as he gripped his sword tightly.
Boom!
The claw clashed against the sword with tremendous force, sending violent tremors through Ye Xingchen's hand. He was forced to retreat rapidly under the pressure of the Golden Dragon.
Facing a peak Zhun Di dragon was indeed no easy task.
Ye Xingchen steadied himself mid-fall and swung his sword lightly; the Golden Dragon retracted its claw.
A look of surprise flickered in its eyes: "Human, you can withstand my power? I am truly impressed."
The Golden Dragon had not taken Ye Xingchen seriously since sensing he was merely at the Zhun Di third level. Yet here he was, enduring its attack with just a sword. This forced the dragon to reevaluate him.
In an instant, Ye Xingchen appeared before the Golden Dragon: "I have yet to battle a peak Zhun Di dragon; let me see just how powerful you are."
Though he knew he could not defeat Man Zhan Kuang, he still believed he could overcome the Golden Dragon.
Fury ignited in the depths of the dragon's eyes:
You have successfully angered me.
As a noble dragon, I never imagined there would come a day when I would be ridiculed by a human.
I will make Ye Xingchen pay dearly for his words.
The golden dragon's body suddenly trembled, and its tail swept towards Ye Xingchen.
Wherever the dragon's tail passed, the sound of shattering space echoed.
Ye Xingchen unleashed a sword strike, and in an instant, countless sword energies materialized.
