At the headquarters of the Social Democratic Party in Berlin, Strasser is being interviewed by "The Voice of Berlin" radio station.
The signing of the Treaty of Locarno stabilized the situation in Europe and brought a glimmer of peace to the German people. Therefore, the government decided to promote this conference vigorously and uphold the spirit of Lugano. To this end, they decided to find a journalist to interview the key contributor to the signing of the treaty.
Originally, the interviewee was supposed to be former Minister of Foreign Affairs Stresemann from the Weimar Republic. However, he insisted on giving this opportunity to Strasser and requested that Strasser choose the media himself.
After the careful selection by the National Socialist Party, the important task of this interview was entrusted to The Voice of Berlin, the largest broadcasting station and newspaper in Berlin. Strasser secretly glanced at the editor-in-chief in front of him, who had a striking figure, and felt a bit dizzy. "Isn't this proportion a bit inhumane?"
Strasser secretly admired the figure with such a curvaceous shape, something he had only seen on the computer.
"Mr. Strasser?"
The words of the female editor brought Strasser back to reality.
"Mr. Strasser, what are your thoughts on becoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs at just 34 years old? Your predecessor, Mr. Stresemann, was 46 when he took on the role. Do you consider yourself a genius?"
"Of course I am a genius. Mr. Stresemann is also a genius. Age doesn't mean anything; as long as one is willing to work for the rise of Germany, anyone deserves recognition."
It seems that journalists skilled at digging for stories have existed long before the twenty-first century, and Mr. Strasser feels somewhat reflective.
"May I ask, how old are you, beautiful miss?"
"G, completely natural."
The editor-in-chief from the "The Voice of Berlin" radio station gave an answer that left Strasser in deep respect.
Seeing Mr. Strasser's astonished expression, the lady named Ivanna chuckled softly. "I'm truly sorry, Mr. Strasser; I thought you weren't asking about age." She then placed her index finger on her bright red lips and looked at Mr. Strasser with her captivating eyes.
"I am twenty-nine years old this year, and I have been single since birth. Mr. Strasser, if you're interested, we can go for a drink after the interview."
"Let's continue with the interview."
Looking at the alluring Ivanna, Strasser couldn't help but call her a fairy. He decided to wrap up the interview quickly; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to handle it.
Looking at the embarrassed Strasser, Ivanna felt quite pleased. She certainly knew the allure of her curvaceous figure for normal men.
Usually, she enjoyed teasing those men, watching them burn with desire, and then turning away just when they were unable to extricate themselves, leaving behind unsatisfied men. Ivanna had played this prank many times before.
However, today her interview subject piqued Ivanna's interest. After all, it was rare to find a handsome German who could control his desires, at least in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ivanna reined in her captivating demeanor, cleared her throat, and focused seriously on her work. "Mr. Strasser, may I ask your opinion on the impact of the signing of the Treaty of Locarno on Europe?"
"Without a doubt, the Treaty of Locarno is beneficial for stabilizing the situation in Europe, easing the tensions between Germany and France, and helping to eliminate the hatred that arose between the peoples of the two countries due to the last European war. The signing of this treaty reflects the German people's noble desire for peace."
The independent and peaceful foreign policy is the foreign policy of our country, for which we have put forward the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.
Germany adheres to the path of peaceful development, firmly pursues an independent and peaceful foreign policy, respects the right of people of all countries to independently choose their development path, upholds international fairness and justice, opposes imposing one's will on others, opposes interference in the internal affairs of other countries, and opposes bullying by the strong against the weak.
Germany will never sacrifice the interests of other countries for its own development, nor will it give up its legitimate rights and interests. No one should harbor the illusion of forcing Germany to swallow the bitter fruit of its own interests.
"Then what are the specific contents of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence you mentioned?" Ivanna asked.
"The contents of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence include mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, non-aggression, non-interference in internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence," Strasser replied without hesitation.
"You really are a lover of peace, Mr. Gregor. I hope you don't mind me calling you that?" Ivanna smiled, using her usual tactic to close the distance during interviews.
"Of course."
Strasser shrugged; after all, formalities had to be said beautifully. Whether people believed it was another matter entirely. However, no matter what, Germany would not lose. As long as he didn't believe it himself, he would remain invincible.
The interview was not as complicated as Strasser had imagined. In less than a while, she had finished asking all her questions.
"Mr. Gregor, we are going to take a photo in a moment, and you will see yourself in tomorrow's edition of The Voice of Berlin."
"In that case, I need to think about what pose would look best."
Strasser looked at the photographer in front of him who was adjusting the equipment and decided to strike what he thought was the coolest pose.
This was his first opportunity to be featured on the front page of the newspaper. The last assassination of President Albert had received extensive coverage, but he was not the main focus, so Strasser's photo was not included. This time, he had to seize the chance.
Strasser knew that Germany's economy was gradually recovering, class conflicts were easing, and people's basic living standards were being ensured. As a result, there would not be as many troublemakers as in previous years.
Left-wing and right-wing parties would fall into a low point between 1926 and 1929, while centrist parties would gain more votes until the next global economic crisis occurred.
So, Strasser's work over the next three years would be to develop his supporters through various means, whether they were men or women, old or young, gay or armed helicopters. In short, the National Socialist Party aimed to seize the opportunity when the economic crisis hit in 1929 and become the largest party in Congress. Besides speeches, newspapers and radio were also excellent methods of propaganda.
"Yes, just like that, lower your head a bit more and hold that pose," the chubby photographer said to Strasser.
As the magnesium powder from the flash burned fiercely in the air, a photo taken by an old-fashioned camera was completed. This was the first photo circulated by Strasser, featuring a man in a suit with his hands in his pockets and a melancholic expression, which would later become one of the most iconic works of the news department under The Voice of Berlin. "What a beautiful photo! I believe when this photo is published in tomorrow's newspaper, you will surely captivate many girls in Germany," Ivanna exclaimed.
"Does this include you, Miss Ivanna?"
"Hehe, you really know how to flatter, Mr. Gregor. I truly like you a lot. So, are you really not considering having a drink with me later?"
Ivanna looked at Strasser with a teasing glint in her captivating big eyes.
"I'm sorry, Miss Ivanna, but I have a meeting to attend later."
Strasser shook his head. Normally, he would never refuse Ivanna's invitation, but he already had a goal in mind. Although Strasser was confident in his political abilities, he didn't think he could handle a situation like a battlefield.
"That's truly unfortunate."
Ivanna felt a bit regretful, but Strasser's rejection only fueled her competitive spirit. In a way, Ivanna and Goebbels were kindred spirits.
Ivanna approached Strasser gracefully and gently took his hand. "Goodbye, Mr. Gregor. I hope we have the opportunity to collaborate in the future."
"I believe it will happen."
Watching Ivanna get into the car and drive away, Strasser opened his right hand, revealing a note with an address written on it.
"This woman is really bold!" Strasser felt a bit embarrassed; he was now extremely doubtful about the authenticity of Ivanna's claim of being single her whole life.
Shaking his head, Strasser turned and walked through the doors of the National Socialist Party headquarters.
"Long live the Führer!"
The vanguard member on duty at the entrance saw Strasser and immediately saluted, to which Strasser waved his hand in response.
"Leader, the person you wanted has arrived, along with that guy named Speer."
In the hall, Coy, who had been waiting for a long time, immediately reported to Strasser upon seeing him.
"I understand. Please arrange for the car to Krupp Company."
Strasser instructed that he was ready to continue drawing inspiration from the ideas of those who came before him.
