The forensic expert's eyes widened; heaven knows how troublesome these contorted corpses were. Yan Kongyue remained silent, casting a golden light over the bodies. Soon, with the crisp sound of cracking bones, the corpses shifted into a lying position.
"Wow, that's impressive!" the Forensic Female silently worshipped in her heart.
Yan Xiao Jun and the others were stunned; this was no ordinary expert from the National Security Bureau—this was like a deity descending from the heavens.

"Their souls have been completely devoured," Feng Xing replied lazily, hands stuffed in his pockets as he leaned against the doorframe.

"They were quite close. That guy's phone had many pictures of him; they reportedly met in high school," Chen Shu added.
"They both didn't have girlfriends, right?" Yan Kongyue seemed to ask but sounded certain.
Warmth's eyes lit up: "See? I told you something was off about them, and you didn't believe me!" After saying that, she winked at Yan Kongyue with an expression that said he understood.
Yan Kongyue raised an eyebrow, pointed at her with his index finger, and smiled: "You hit the nail on the head!" He then turned to Feng Xing, who was looking down at his hands.
Everyone followed Yan Kongyue's gaze, surprised as Feng Xing quickly calculated with his thumb. He then took out a small booklet with a line of nails from his pocket, flipped through it for a moment, and handed it to Yan Kongyue.
Yan Kongyue glanced at it quickly and said to Yan Xiao Jun, "That person died forty-nine days ago?"
Yan Xiao Jun thought for a moment and replied, "That's right!"
"Then it's confirmed; that person has been taken to Difu!"
"Huh? How are we going to close the case?" Wen Nuan looked at her captain.
"An accidental death, I suppose!"
"Mm-hmm!"
"Is there anything else?"
"Yes, yes, yes!" Wen Nuan looked at Yan Xiao Jun. "Captain, let Yan Consultant take a look at your girlfriend!"
