Yun Fan wore a satisfied expression on his face, clearly feeling quite content.
Upon witnessing this scene, the expressions of those around him instantly darkened. They thought to themselves, after all this time, you’re just here to mess around.
Hui Yan Master, visibly impatient, shouted angrily, "You better break this barrier quickly! What are you still doing here?"
Yun Fan frowned, his displeasure evident in his voice. "If you have the ability, why don’t you do it? I’m not breaking this barrier."
With that, Yun Fan turned to leave. Several Formation Masters surrounding him, wearing sycophantic smiles, quickly blocked his path and said politely, "Little brother, don’t waste time. Hurry up and break it; the longer we wait, the more dangerous it becomes."
Yun Fan shot a glance at Hui Yan Master, clearly dissatisfied. The Formation Masters exchanged sharp glances with Hui Yan Master, warning him not to provoke Yun Fan further. If he dared to interfere again, they would join forces to drive him away. In the face of profit, they wouldn’t care about Hui Yan Master’s reputation as a Third-Rank Array Master.
After all, there were so many valuable herbs inside; if they could obtain them, they might soar to new heights and perhaps even break through to become Third-Rank Array Masters themselves.
Seeing the situation unfold, Hui Yan Master gritted his teeth and reluctantly lowered his tone, pleading with Yun Fan to break the barrier. He thought bitterly to himself that once the barrier was opened, he would make sure this brat paid for his insolence.
The Formation Masters sweet-talked Yun Fan into attempting to break the barrier.
Yun Fan nodded in satisfaction and approached the barrier, falling into deep thought.
Everyone watched intently as Yun Fan’s next actions consisted of either picking his nose or patting down his robes, or even fiddling with his bird egg. The onlookers wore grim expressions; some began to wonder if he had contracted some sort of ailment given how incessantly he scratched himself.
Unable to tolerate it any longer, a few individuals left hastily and sat down nearby to begin their cultivation.
After a while of this absurd behavior from Yun Fan, everyone else had distanced themselves from him, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. He then began to channel his spiritual energy, familiarizing himself with the Formation Barrier before slowly starting to dismantle it.
Time passed slowly...
Several hours later, the barrier in front of Yun Fan was slowly dissipating, and a look of joy spread across his face. Without hesitation, he unleashed the Thunderous Step and charged right in.
Without a second thought, he began stuffing the precious herbs into his Storage Ring, including many Third Tier and Fourth Rank medicines.
Hui Yan Master, while cultivating, glanced at the door and was startled to see Yun Fan's figure vanish. The barrier outside also disappeared, causing a wave of alarm to surge within him.
Filled with rage, he shouted loudly, "That brat has gone in! Let's hurry up and follow him!"
The nearby Formation Masters were taken aback by his voice, abandoning their cultivation without a second thought as they rushed inside.
Yun Fan was still busy scavenging the herbs when they arrived, and they immediately yelled in anger, "Hey! Hurry up and put those down!"
Yun Fan completely ignored them, continuing to shove every bottle from the shelf into his Storage Ring.
The Formation Masters, their eyes blazing with desire at the sight of the herbs, disregarded Yun Fan entirely and rushed forward to compete for the valuable medicines.
Hui Yan Master fixed his gaze on Yun Fan. Since this brat was the first to enter, he must have snatched up plenty of good herbs. He decided to take him down first.
With a surge of energy, he revealed his strength at the fourth level of the Xuan Yuan Realm and unleashed his True Essence Power towards Yun Fan.
