"It's Yun Fan, disciple of the Yun Family from Dongyang County," he replied calmly.
The voice inside seemed to fall silent for a moment before it filled with excitement as the door was hurriedly opened. A guard peeked out, glancing at the young man standing outside. Upon seeing his youthful appearance, the guard's hopeful expression dimmed slightly as he quickly pulled Yun Fan inside.
Once inside the mansion, Yun Fan noticed that several guards around him appeared nervous and seemed to be afraid. His confusion deepened as he was about to ask what was going on when a middle-aged man approached slowly, flanked by several others. The man’s face bore a look of worry, and when he saw Yun Fan's youthful visage, any hope he had instantly faded away into a bitter smile.
He had expected that the family would send a powerful expert upon sensing something amiss; instead, they sent a young disciple. Judging by his appearance, he looked only about eighteen or nineteen years old and probably hadn't even broken through to True Essence Realm—how could he possibly be of any help?
Nevertheless, he maintained a polite demeanor and clasped his hands together in greeting. "I am Yun Hao, head of the Yun Family in Fanyang City. It is a pleasure to meet you."
Yun Fan quickly returned the gesture with cupped fists and slightly bowed before asking, "What has happened here?"
What has happened to the Yun Family? Why haven't the resources arrived in Yongyang County over a month ago?
Upon hearing this, Yun Hao let out a faint sigh, his brows furrowing deeper with worry. He didn’t dare to hide the truth and slowly began to explain.

Yun Fan frowned and said coldly, "How could those bandits be so audacious? Don’t they realize you are from the Yun Family of Dongyang County?"
Hearing this, Yun Hao's expression darkened as he replied slowly, "The leader of those bandits is known by the nickname Heartsick Tiger. He is a powerful figure at the Peak of True Essence Realm."
