Yun Fan was momentarily taken aback by the words of the Grand Elder, who had mentioned his father. Could this person be connected to him in some way? However, he quickly regained his composure and smiled faintly.

Before long, the Yun Family Head and the elders led these young members out of the estate, heading towards County City Square to participate in the County Tournament.

Many small families had brought their young members to this event, but only a few from each family met the requirements for participation. Even though several medium-sized families had one or two members at the Xuan Yuan Realm, they still fell short compared to the Four Great Families of Yongyang County.
After all, the Four Great Families had deep roots and had established themselves in the city for many years; they were not easily comparable to these rising talents.
Soon after, Wu Family of the Four Great Families was the first to arrive.
Wu De, the leader of the Wu Clan, stepped forward with a group of elders and young disciples, drawing gasps of surprise from the crowd. The onlookers, who were both surnamed and practiced martial arts, began to scrutinize the members of the Wu Family. This was especially true for several prominent figures from the Xuan Yuan Realm standing at the forefront.
Many in the crowd felt a sense of nostalgia; it was rare to even catch a glimpse of these esteemed individuals, yet here they were at the County Tournament, all gathered together. Once the Wu Family arrived, they made their way directly to the elevated viewing platform designated for them.
Before long, members of the Yun Family also made their entrance, eliciting an equally strong reaction from those present. The Yun Family Head, accompanied by elders and young disciples, took their seats on the opposite side of the platform.
Yun Feng nodded towards Wu De as a form of greeting. Wu De returned the gesture with a smile and a nod, acknowledging the courtesy.
Despite frequent conflicts between the Four Great Families of Fengyun County over resources, they maintained a facade of cordiality in public settings like this one, exchanging smiles and greetings that reflected their noble lineage.
