Yun Fan watched as Wu Wang left, his expression returning to calm, not considering the man worthy of his attention.
Just a useless individual, barely twenty years old and only at the Refining Body stage, always stirring up trouble. If it weren't for his status as the Wu Family Eldest Son, he would have been beaten to death long ago.
Yun Fan turned to the maid of the Treasure Pavilion and asked, "I would like to exchange some items for spirit stones."
The maid smiled sweetly, her voice soft as she replied, "Of course, young master. Please follow me."
They entered a private room nearby. An elderly man sat there, and upon seeing Yun Fan approach, a smile appeared on his face as he asked, "May I ask what items you wish to exchange?"
Without wasting words, Yun Fan took out a pile of Monster Materials, spirit herbs, and Rare Ore from his storage bag, filling the entire counter to the brim.
"I want to exchange all of these for spirit stones," he stated.
The old man was momentarily taken aback by the sheer volume. Although most of the items were First Level materials with only a few Second Tier ones among them, the quantity was impressive.
He glanced at Yun Fan with curiosity, thinking to himself that this young man must have killed and burned quite a bit to accumulate such a hodgepodge of items. However, he didn't dwell on it; whatever the origin of these goods, the Treasure Pavilion would accept them without question.
He began to carefully tally up the items. The First-Order Beast materials and spirit herbs could be exchanged for several spirit stones each. As for the few Second Tier materials, they could fetch dozens of spirit stones, their value multiplying significantly.
After half an hour of counting, he finally provided a quote: a total worth of one thousand one hundred spirit stones.
Upon hearing this price, Yun Fan nodded in satisfaction; it was within his expectations. After all, these were just ordinary materials. Being able to exchange them for over a thousand spirit stones indicated that the Treasure Pavilion hadn't significantly lowered their value.
After receiving Yun Fan's agreement, a smile appeared on the old man's face. Although these items were all ordinary, the sheer quantity amounted to a significant achievement. He immediately began counting at the counter, took out a storage bag, and said with a grin, "Young Master, here are one thousand one hundred spirit stones."
Yun Fan accepted the bag with a smile and then inquired, "Does the Treasure Pavilion sell Monster Cores?"
Upon hearing this, the old man laughed heartily, confidence radiating from his demeanor as he replied slowly, "Rest assured, Young Master. Whatever is available on the market, our Treasure Pavilion has it. And for things not on the market, we also have them."
Hearing this, Yun Fan promptly asked, "How much is a Second-Stage Beast's core?"
The old man began quoting prices immediately. "For an Early Stage Tier Two Beast core, it's three hundred spirit stones each. For a Mid-Stage Second Tier Beast core, it's one hundred spirit stones each. A Late Stage Second Tier Monster Core is nine hundred spirit stones each. And for a Peak Tier Two Monster core, it's one thousand two hundred spirit stones each."
Upon hearing these prices, Yun Fan was somewhat taken aback; he hadn't expected them to be so expensive. Even a random core would cost several hundred spirit stones.
