He quickly flipped through the case files and found a laboratory report. "Do you remember? We detected unknown genetic fragments in those 'Crispy Pork Skins.' Looking back now, that might have been 'His' genes." 0

Suddenly, the large screen in the command center flickered again. The voice, altered by a voice modulator, echoed, "Have you finally discovered it? The 'Crispy Pork Skin' was our earliest attempt to spread 'His' genes through the food chain. But the human body is too fragile to withstand the complete genetic sequence..." 0

The scene shifted to surveillance footage from the Underground Factory. Xu Rong saw the proprietress placing slabs of human skin into a Specialized Dryer, each piece adorned with Glowing Symbols. 0

"Each 'Crispy Pork Skin' is a miniature petri dish," the voice explained. "By consuming it, 'His' genes can subtly alter the DNA of the eater. Those students, those citizens, they are all our test subjects..." 0

Xu Rong felt a wave of nausea wash over him. He recalled the students munching on snacks in the playground and the sudden rise in Missing Persons Cases in his neighborhood. It turned out that everything was part of a plan. 0

"But," the voice suddenly grew excited, "you are our most successful Masterpiece. Since your birth, we have been perfecting your genetic sequence. The 'Crispy Pork Skin' was merely an appetizer, while you... are the main course." 0

Xu Rong felt a sharp pain in the scar on his right hand as the Glowing Symbols began to spread across his body. He saw a Giant Figure slowly raise its hand, pointing in his direction. 0

"You are the final key," the voice said. "You are the bridge connecting two worlds. When 'His' genes fully awaken within you, a new era will dawn..." 0

Suddenly, a piercing alarm blared through the command center. The Satellite feed showed the Giant Figure moving toward the coast, its target unmistakably—Third Elementary School. 0

"Those children..." Xu Rong murmured, "they were the earliest test subjects; now they are going home..." 0

The wail of sirens pierced the night as Xu Rong and Lao Chen's vehicle sped toward Third Elementary School. The streets were deserted, illuminated only by streetlights casting a pale glow in the darkness. 0

Xu Rong felt an increasing heat radiating from his scarred hand; the Glowing Symbols had already spread to his neck. 0

"Those children," Xu Rong suddenly said, "they are not victims, but rather... catalysts." 0

Lao Chen frowned, "What do you mean?" 0

"Do you remember those 'Crispy Pork Skins'?" Xu Rong quickly flipped through the case files. "The test reports show that the mutation rate in children after consumption is ten times that of adults. Those children... they are the perfect carriers." 0

Suddenly, an urgent voice crackled over the radio: "Captain Chen, there's an anomaly at Third Elementary School! On the playground... there’s a large amount of Fluorescent Substance!" 0

Xu Rong felt his heart constrict sharply. He recalled the students munching on snacks on the playground, their eyes glimmering with an eerie light. It wasn't just simple addiction; it was a genetic alteration. 0

The vehicle screeched to a halt in front of Third Elementary School. Xu Rong jumped out, and the sight before him made him gasp— the entire playground was covered with a layer of Fluorescent Slime, resembling some sort of biological secretion. 0

In the center of the slime, dozens of glowing figures were forming a circle, their bodies semi-transparent and emitting an eerie blue light. 0

"It's those Missing Children!" Lao Chen exclaimed. 0
