That night, I discussed the specific plans with Lu Ying. To be honest, I still intended to keep her out of this operation. The moment I mentioned it, Lu Ying turned hostile, accusing me of being overly dramatic.
The police had a well-thought-out plan in place. Since Lu Ying took on this task while living with me, she had started taking a locator device. Yes, taking! "Xiang Dong," she said earnestly, "I want to clarify that I'm not doing this just for you; it's my duty and my choice. If something unexpected happens, don't blame yourself. I'm not helping you because of some obligation—don't get it twisted!"
Lu Ying looked at me seriously as she spoke.
Did she want me to lighten my psychological burden? What kind of mentality is this? Is she serious?

I looked at Lu Ying and said, "I am the one in charge of this plan! At this moment, I cannot back down!"
"Are you serious? Chen is about to make his move, and you're telling me this?" Lu Ying frowned at me.
I meant it. I had wanted to say this for a long time.
"Yes, I’ve wanted to say it for a while," I admitted. "No one wants to die; I certainly don’t. I just hope that if something unexpected happens, you won’t blame yourself. This has nothing to do with you, and you can’t go see Chen."

I interrupted Lu Ying with a serious smile. In the plan, my role was just to answer calls, gather evidence, and the entire rescue operation for Lu Ying would be handled by Zheng Yu alone. Lu Ying looked at me and smiled, nodding her head.
"You jerk! I want ice cream now; go buy some for me," she said with a grin.
I sighed and nodded in response.
I turned to leave without looking back. I knew Lu Ying had noticed the person following us, and I had noticed too. I also knew they were planning to act tonight.

That night, I lay on the couch smoking a cigarette, waiting for Chen's call!
I was all alone.
Zheng Yu was organizing the rescue operation with the police for Lu Ying.

Chen laughed coldly. "Damn it! I knew he would say that! Why am I so furious?"
"How dare you, Chen! You think I won't?" I cursed back fiercely.
"I know you won't! If you dare, come now! I’ll kill your delicate girlfriend right now! And before she dies, I'll make sure she spends her last moments with my brothers! Haha! Just imagine, Xiang Dong! Your woman being played with by a whole bunch of my brothers! Are you happy about that? Huh? Haha!"
Chen laughed wildly.

"Chen, I'm serious. Tell me what you want!" I gritted my teeth and said. Chen smiled with satisfaction and replied, "I don’t want much. Just want you dead. Once you're gone, I guarantee your little girlfriend will live happily ever after without anyone bullying her. How does that sound? Am I good enough for you?"
Chen asked with a grin.
"You son of a bitch! How can I trust you? Why should I believe you?" I cursed angrily.
"You don’t have to believe me! No one is forcing you! But right now, there are only two choices in front of you: First, regardless of your girlfriend's fate, you choose to go down with me. Tonight, I will definitely enjoy the taste of your Xiang Dong’s woman. Second, you die, and I’ll keep her safe."
"Damn it!"
I cursed again.
"Haha! Hahaha!"
Chen laughed maniacally! Little did he know he had already walked into my trap! What expression would he have when Zheng Yu successfully rescued her? Confused, perhaps?

"Rescue failed! Tracker malfunctioned!"
