Ling Xue gently stroked Liu Yichen's small face, determination shining in her eyes. "No matter what comes our way, we must face it bravely."
Ling Na held Liu Siyao close and sighed softly. "Yes, I hope our choices are the right ones."
They knew that the road ahead was long; this was merely a beginning.
Ling Xue hired a top-notch lawyer for Liu Jiedong. After meeting with him, the lawyer drove away in the BMW that Liu Jiedong had once gifted her. Inside the car, Ling Na sat quietly, cradling the two infants whose small forms were endearing.
The car glided smoothly along the road as Ling Xue's thoughts drifted back to the past. She sighed gently and reflected, "Ah, thinking back to those days of living as a husband with two wives truly brings mixed feelings."
Ling Na nodded slightly, her eyes filled with reminiscence as she softly replied, "That's right; Liu Jiedong isn't really a bad person at heart. His desires were just a bit too strong. But aside from that, there wasn't much else that made him unbearable."
Ling Xue looked down at her chubby Liu Yichen and spoke slowly, weaving tenderness with worry in her gaze. "We brought these two children into this world together; who knows what will happen next?"
