Though the women were reluctant, they dared not defy Liu Jiedong's orders and could only leave in frustration.
Ling Xue watched this scene unfold, feeling increasingly uneasy. "With Liu Jiedong being so temperamental, how are we going to live from now on?"
Ling Na took Ling Xue's hand and reassured her, "Don't worry; we'll figure something out together."
Liu Jiedong's announcement of a press conference quickly spread throughout the business world and media circles. Numerous reporters rushed to the venue, cameras flashing incessantly, creating a lively yet tense atmosphere.
Standing on stage, Liu Jiedong proudly declared, "If Ling Xue's child is a boy, he will be the heir of Liu Family Ying Group."
