The followers of Lao Lang Zhi pursued relentlessly behind them, firing their guns continuously. Ling Xue skillfully maneuvered the car, dodging the bullets. She knew she couldn't stop; if she were caught, the consequences would be dire.
At a sharp turn, Ling Xue cleverly used the car's inertia to shake off some of her pursuers. However, a few still remained hot on her trail. Deciding to take a risk, she drove into a narrow alley. The road was rough and bumpy, but Ling Xue showed no signs of hesitation.
Finally, she spotted a police station ahead. Without a moment's thought, she drove into the police station's yard. Burdened with evidence, she rushed toward the entrance. The guard at the police station was taken aback by this sudden situation and quickly pressed the alarm button.
Ling Xue, breathless and frantic, reached Officer Xing Hong and exclaimed with urgency and relief, "Officer, it's me! I'm Ling Xue."
Xing Hong was momentarily stunned but quickly regained composure. "Oh, it's you! How did you end up here? What happened?"
Ling Xue spoke rapidly, "I was collecting evidence against Lao Lang Zhi's criminal organization. I've gathered everything I need, but I faced many dangers while escaping. Luckily, I found you."
Xing Hong's expression turned serious. "You did well, Ling Xue. We have been looking for an opportunity to strike against this criminal group. Your evidence is crucial for us."
Ling Xue insisted urgently, "We must act quickly to arrest Lao Lang Zhi; we can't let him roam free any longer."
Xing Hong nodded. "Don't worry; we are ready. Follow me."
Under Xing Hong's leadership, the police swiftly launched an operation to encircle Lao Lang Zhi and his criminal organization.
When Lao Lang Zhi was arrested, he wore an expression of disbelief. He shouted at Ling Xue in anger, "You traitorous wretch! How could you betray me?"
Ling Xue coldly replied, "You deserve what’s coming to you; your actions will face the law."
Xing Hong sternly addressed Lao Lang Zhi, "Your criminal activities have been exposed; you will face severe legal consequences."
With Lao Lang Zhi's arrest, this notorious criminal organization was finally dismantled, and justice was served.
