One red, one white, exuding an overwhelming aura of menace. 0

Lao Shi cast a bloodless glance at Zuo Ci. 0

"Strange," Zuo Ren said, "please enter the formation for a look!" 0

Zuo Ci smiled, "You flatter me!" 0

He lightly tapped his forehead with his finger. 0

The air behind him twisted like the surface of boiling water, manifesting the shadow of a black Evil God. 0

The Evil God had no body, only a head as large as a mountain, adorned with seven faces. Some were fierce, some mournful, and others joyful. 0

Below the head dangled viscera, flesh, and tendons. Blood continuously dripped from the rotting organs. 0

An Evil God? 0

Lao Shi's expression suddenly changed. "You actually worship an Evil God? But why have I never seen this manifestation? An Evil God that only has a head—could it be the Fei Tou Jiang from Southeast Asia? Yet I have seen Exorcists cultivate Fei Tou Jiang, and they do not possess such an imposing aura." 0

A person's name carries weight; a tree's shadow is significant. 0

Despite Lao Shi's age and experience surpassing Zuo Ci's, he did not dare underestimate Zuo Ci's cultivation and actions. 0

In such a Ji Qingqing state, in the vast land of China, there was only one like him! 0

Moo! 0

The Evil God’s vicious mouth opened wide, emitting a sound akin to an ancient bell ringing thunderously. 0

Lao Shi's body trembled instantly. 0

The Three Souls and Seven Spirits showed signs of leaving their bodies in response to that thunderous voice. 0

"Advance! Battle! Fight! All! Form! Line up!" Lao Shi chanted while gesturing with his fingers. 0

This was the Nine Character Mantra of the door, effective for warding off evil spirits, dispelling disasters, and calming souls. 0

It is said that in Southeast Asia, there exists a certain technique known as the Xiang Tou Shu. Upon successful cultivation, an Exorcist can detach their head along with their internal organs from their abdomen, and then ascend into the air. The Black-Clad Ajarn in Southeast Asia refers to this technique as the Si Luo Bottle. 0

If the cultivation fails, the Si Luo Bottle will roam at night, transforming into a Wu You Hun. It will wander about with its intestines exposed, seeking out children's feces to satiate its hunger. Children whose feces are consumed will face a grim fate; they may not die but will suffer illness or misfortune. 0

As a result, some parents teach their children to pick up small twigs or grass after defecating and place them in a cross shape over the feces, so that the Si Luo Bottle will not dare to consume it. After its excursions, the Si Luo Bottle must return before the rooster crows at dawn; otherwise, it will perish. 0

However, once the Xiang Tou Shu is mastered, the Exorcist does not turn into a Si Luo Bottle but can use it to eliminate enemies. The Si Luo Bottle can invade an enemy's home to capture their soul. If the enemy hears their name called and responds, their soul is taken. If they do not respond, their soul cannot be captured. 0

According to folk tradition in Nanyang, the Xiang Tou Shu is believed to have originated from Hinduism. When the Tang Dynasty's Tripitaka traveled to India to seek Buddhist scriptures and was returning home, he passed through Annam along the Tongtian River, which flows into the Mekong River upstream in Siam. 0

A Wu Gui Jing attempted to drown him by submerging a boat halfway into the riverbed to kill him. Although Tripitaka did not die, all the scriptures he sought sank to the river bottom. Fortunately, his disciples retrieved some of them from the water but only managed to recover a portion of the Mahayana texts. The remaining Hinayana texts were swept away by the current into Siam, where they were presented to the Siamese monk king. It is said that this text is what we now know as the Xiang Tou Shu. 0

Lao Shi gasped for breath heavily. After all, he hailed from Ye Mao Shan and had considerable knowledge of Maoshan Sorcery. In just a moment, he seemed to understand that what Zuo Ci was practicing was indeed a taboo within the Xiang Tou Shu. 0

It appeared that he had successfully cultivated Fei Tou Jiang. Once an Exorcist has refined Fei Tou Jiang, any Xiang Tou Shu technique would lose its effect on them. 0

Lao Shi's expression grew serious as he stepped forward confidently and retrieved a Black Peach Wood Sword from his cloth pouch. In ancient times, people believed that peach wood could ward off evil spirits and protect against malevolent forces. They discovered that every entity in nature possesses both yin and yang qualities that interact with one another. 0

Peach wood is also known as Xian Mu, Xiang Long Mu, or Gui Chu Mu. 0
