The Eagle Demon looked up in surprise. "Isn't that our enemy, Black Mountain?"
Yao Huang cast a cold glance at him. "What's wrong? Are you unwilling to go?"
The Eagle Demon shivered, feeling as if refusing would mean death in the next moment. "I'll go, Your Majesty. I will do whatever you command."
Yao Huang nodded with satisfaction. "Good. I’m sending you to be his subordinate. Also, keep an eye on any other actions he might take."
The Eagle Demon felt a chill in his heart. "I understand, Your Majesty."
"Then go," Yao Huang waved his hand, dismissing the Eagle Demon.
In a hurry, the Eagle Demon left the cave and shot into the sky, heading straight for Black Mountain.
In Jinhua Prefecture, Qin Feng sat under the bamboo grove, squinting his eyes at the sky above. The Journey to the West was indeed interesting.
His spirits lifted; the unknown was what people feared most, but now he knew what the upper realm was like. It was time for him to start preparing.
He was just waiting for the boat from Dongting Lake to be completed.
Qin Feng raised his head and looked up; he could see strands of Destiny Energy converging towards him. Though it seemed sparse now, it was continuously flowing in and was still quite considerable.
He gazed at the thin layer of golden light and decided not to let Hei Jiao consume it yet; it was still too little.
Han Fu Zun had indeed worked diligently; several large ships had been crafted quickly.
On this day, Qin Feng boarded the ship with his soldiers, bringing only Feng Wushuang and those fierce swordsmen.
Han Fu Zun watched them board with a complex expression, knowing they were heading south.
Bai Suzhen and Nie Xiaoqian also boarded the ship, while Zhang Zhu remained in Jinhua Prefecture to oversee matters.
With Zhang Zhu's capabilities, stabilizing the north would be quite simple.
Qin Feng stood at the bow of the ship, feeling the wind blow against him. Suddenly, he waved his hand and commanded, "Set sail!"
The fleet of dozens of large ships slowly departed, heading out towards Dongting Lake.
Qin Feng stood at the bow of the ship, squinting his eyes. If there was such a terrifying force as the Ten Thousand Great Mountains to the north, then what about the south?
He couldn't believe that there were no other powers in the south. Old Fox had already gone to Jiangnan ahead of them. Qin Feng turned to Bai Suzhen and Bai Gu Niang, asking, "Haven't you both been to the south? Do you know of any major forces there?"
Bai Suzhen was taken aback; she hadn't expected Qin Feng to ask her. After pondering for a moment, she replied, "Well, Jinshan Temple should count as a power, and there's also Shu Mountain."
Qin Feng narrowed his eyes. "What about the demonic forces? Which ones are there?"
Bai Suzhen furrowed her brow. They had mostly stayed in the city back then and really didn't know much about the demonic powers.
Xiao Qing suddenly chimed in, "What about Jin Lun Fa Wang? Sister, did you forget? That's a centipede from the Yuan Shen Realm!"
Bai Suzhen paused for a moment before nodding in agreement. "Yes, Jin Lun Fa Wang should be considered one."
Qin Feng's eyes flickered. "Is there anything else?"
Bai Suzhen shook her head slightly. "We didn't pay much attention to those things back then."
Qin Feng frowned slightly. He didn't take Jin Lun Fa Wang seriously; after all, it was just a creature from the Yuan Shen Realm and could be easily dealt with. However, he couldn't believe that such a prosperous place as Jiangnan would lack major forces; perhaps they were just hidden too deeply.
He slowly exhaled. There was no need to rush; once they took action in Jiangnan, the Ox Demon and Snake Spirit would surely reveal themselves.
As the large ship exited Dongting Lake and entered the Dahe River, its speed immediately increased. With Qin Feng's presence, there were no storms or waves to contend with as they flowed downstream effortlessly.
