Tiger King fixed his gaze on Black Python, snorting in disdain. He had almost been fooled; after all, it was just a python with dragon blood.
Black Python looked at Tiger King and sneered coldly, "What a pity. You can't even defeat a mere python."
Tiger King's eyes widened with fury. "You're dead today!" With that, he let out a roar and lunged at Black Python.
Zhenbei Wang couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. It wasn't Jiao Long after all. He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead; he had truly been frightened just now.
In the sky, the two colossal beasts clashed violently. Tiger King's claws struck down, causing the air to ripple slightly.
Black Python's tail whipped around like a giant sword, slicing through the space with far more terror than Tiger King's claws.
Tiger King was horrified to discover that his attacks seemed ineffective against Black Python. Although his claws made contact, it felt as though he were striking air.
Black Python's eyes turned icy; he had no intention of playing around any longer. His entire body blurred and transformed into mist, slipping past the swinging claws and the ferocious tail that came crashing down.
Tiger King was momentarily caught off guard. Before he could react, Black Python had solidified again, wrapping tightly around him.
Feeling the terrifying pressure constricting him, Tiger King's heart sank in dread. He realized too late how fearsome a python's strangling power could be.
He struggled violently, but could he easily break free from Black Python's grip? The situation on the battlefield changed too quickly for Zhenbei Wang and Black Mountain Old Demon to comprehend.
Wasn't Tiger King just dominating moments ago? How had the tables turned so suddenly?
Zhenbei Wang's expression darkened as he moved his fingers slightly; he recognized that Black Python was indeed powerful. To take down Black Mountain, he would have to eliminate Black Python first.
He could no longer resist the urge to intervene.
Roaring Tiger King let out an enraged roar, but beneath his fury lay a hint of panic.
A figure suddenly appeared above the two massive creatures, wielding a long sword that shimmered with golden light, and swung it down towards the Black Python's head.
The Black Mountain Old Demon’s expression changed; damn it, he was about to fly out to intercept Zhenbei Wang.
"Brother, have you forgotten what I said? Don't act." A voice echoed in the Black Mountain Old Demon’s ear.
He hesitated, a conflicted look in his eyes, but ultimately stopped, anxiously watching the Black Python.
The long sword descended without obstruction, and Zhenbei Wang was momentarily stunned before bursting into ecstasy—this was going too smoothly.
It seemed that the Black Python was also occupied by the Tiger King; wasn’t this just a target? He exerted more force with his hand.
"Ah, damn it, Zhenbei Wang! Why are you attacking me? Are you in cahoots with him?" The Tiger King howled in agony, struggling to lift his head, his fierce eyes blazing with anger as he glared at Zhenbei Wang, wishing he could kill him on the spot.
Zhenbei Wang was taken aback; upon closer inspection, he noticed a gaping wound on the Tiger King’s neck beneath the snake’s head, blood gushing out.
"No, wait! I was aiming for the Black Python!" Zhenbei Wang's face changed as he hurriedly explained.
"You fool! He has the ability to shift between reality and illusion; your sword can't harm him at all!" The Tiger King nearly choked on his frustration.
Zhenbei Wang gasped in shock and quickly withdrew his sword before striking again.
The Black Python raised its head, its cold, eerie eyes fixed on Zhenbei Wang, revealing a mocking glint within them.
Zhenbei Wang felt a chill run down his spine under that gaze, standing frozen in place, unsure of what to do next.
