They immediately turned to Qin Feng, their faces filled with concern. Qin Feng remained calm, pulling out the invitation but not yet handing it to the Shrimp Soldier. The Shrimp Soldier waved his hand, signaling that it was fine for him to board the ship.
Qin Feng turned and smiled at his companions, saying, "Let's go." With that, he stepped onto the vessel. Zhu Fang and the others hurriedly followed him.
Once everyone was on board, the Shrimp Soldier stared in disbelief before finally reacting. "Wait, where are your invitations?"
Qin Feng grinned and replied, "They are all with me."
The Shrimp Soldier gasped, "You’re bringing so many people by yourself? No way!"
Qin Feng shook his head. "Did the Dragon Lord specify how many people one can bring?"
The Shrimp Soldier paused, seemingly unsure. "I don’t think so."
"Then it’s settled. Since the Dragon Lord didn’t say otherwise, it must be allowed," Qin Feng stated matter-of-factly.
The Shrimp Soldier seemed a bit confused; there were just too many people.
Qin Feng chuckled and asked Ning Caichen, "What about your invitation?"
Ning Caichen quickly produced his invitation. "Here it is!"
Qin Feng turned to the Shrimp Soldier. "With the two of us bringing this many people, there shouldn’t be any problem now, right?"
The Shrimp Soldier looked at Ning Caichen's invitation and opened his mouth. It seemed reasonable to bring a few people with two invitations.
Qin Feng shook his head and ignored the Shrimp Soldier, turning back toward the ship.
Zhu Fang and the others closely followed behind.
"Is it really this easy to get in?" Zhu Fang found it hard to believe.
The others were equally surprised.
Qin Feng laughed lightly. "Actually, this Shrimp Soldier is a bit foolish."
The group fell silent; they still found the Shrimp Soldier intimidating, and only Qin Feng would dare to call him foolish.
They couldn’t help but glance back at the Shrimp Soldier, who looked conflicted, as if sensing something was off.
No matter what, they had indeed boarded the ship. Nie Rong still felt a hint of worry; they had passed this hurdle, but what about the Dragon Lord? Would he direct his anger at them?
Zhu Fang and the others had no such concerns. Han Qing was still in a daze, unable to believe that he had actually gotten on the ship. He felt a surge of excitement—how had no one noticed this before?
What he didn't realize was that it wasn't that no one had noticed; it was that they feared the Dragon Lord and dared not act.
If they truly provoked the Dragon Lord, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Hey, Han Qing, how did you all get up here?" A surprised voice suddenly rang out.
Qin Feng turned to look; it was none other than Feng Lin, who stood there in shock, holding an invitation.
Seeing the invitation in his hand, Han Qing sneered, "So you really did manage to get an invitation."
Feng Lin scrutinized them carefully. "You all have invitations? That's impossible."
He had put in a lot of effort just to obtain one invitation for himself. There was no way he would believe that so many of them had invitations.
Han Qing smiled smugly. "Ha! What do you care? We're already on the ship now."
Feng Lin paused, his expression darkening as he glared at Han Qing.
"Hmph, it must have been you who pulled some strings. What a grand display of power."
Jealousy and envy flickered in his eyes. If he hadn't been forced to withdraw from the competition, he wouldn't have ended up here attending the Provincial Examination.
Han Qing's expression changed slightly.
"Hmph, you're thinking too much. I didn't pull any strings." He wasn't foolish either.
