The County Magistrate grabbed the woman's arm, completely stunned. "Xiu Niang, you—"
Qin Feng replied coolly, "County Magistrate, can't you see? She is not human at all."
"What?" The County Magistrate recoiled as if struck by lightning, collapsing onto the ground. His face turned pale as he looked at the woman in terror. "Are you really a monster?"
The woman's gaze shifted to Qin Feng. Noticing he was a scholar, she licked her lips with her tongue. Now that the person she had been waiting for had appeared, there was no need for her to hide any longer.
Turning her eyes back to the County Magistrate, she coldly remarked, "I've long wanted to devour you, you fat pig."
With that, she suddenly placed her hand on her face, and the sound of tearing fabric echoed in the air.
A horrifying scene unfolded as she ripped off a layer of skin, revealing a creature with black skin and sharp fangs that dripped with saliva.
"Ah!" Nie Xiaoqian and the other women screamed in unison; the monster's appearance was simply too terrifying.
The County Magistrate watched in horror as he recalled moments of intimacy he had shared with her. Overcome with nausea, he doubled over and vomited on the ground.
Nie Rong couldn't help but take a step back; he too was frightened. Who could have imagined that a beautiful woman would transform into such a ghastly figure?
Suddenly, the monster reached out its hand and plunged it into the County Magistrate's back with a sickening squelch, blood splattering everywhere.
Then, with a swift motion, the monster pulled out a still-beating heart from his body.
With a sinister grin, it stuffed the heart into its mouth, chewing while looking at Qin Feng and the others, blood dripping from its lips.
Several girls could no longer bear it; their faces turned pale as they bent over to vomit.
Nie Rong's face also turned green, but he managed to remain composed.
Qin Feng merely watched this scene with indifference.
Gulping down the heart, the monster then fixed its fierce gaze on Nie Rong and the others. "Now it's just you left. Who should I eat first?"
The monster's eyes glinted with mockery. Qin Feng suddenly said coolly, "You're targeting Miss Nie, aren't you?"
"Hmm?" The monster paused in surprise and looked at Qin Feng. "How did you know?"
"What? You're after my daughter?" Nie Rong exclaimed in shock as he hurriedly positioned himself in front of Nie Xiaoqian.
Nie Xiaoqian was startled as well but quickly hid behind Qin Feng.
Out of the corner of his eye, Nie Rong noticed this and his expression darkened. She hasn't even been married off yet! But now was not the time to think about that.
Qin Feng stepped forward, resting his hand on the hilt of his sword, a curious smile on his face. "She seems like an ordinary person. What do you want with her?"
The demon scrutinized Qin Feng from head to toe, and a look of disdain flickered in its eyes at the sight of the sword at his waist. "What can you do with just that sword?"
"I don't mind telling you," the demon continued without hesitation. "It's because she has a special constitution—she's an Extreme Yin Body. My grandmother wants to capture her to offer her to the Black Mountain King."
"Hmph! We discovered her as soon as she arrived in Guobei County last time, but unfortunately, by the time we reported back and returned, she had already escaped," the demon said, irritation creeping into its voice.
"So you've been waiting here for her to come back?" Qin Feng asked, realization dawning on him.
"Exactly. Once someone is targeted by my grandmother, there's no way for them to escape," the demon boasted proudly.
Qin Feng's eyes flickered as he processed this information. "So that's it—an Extreme Yin Body?" He couldn't help but glance back at Nie Xiaoqian.
To be honest, he found these bizarre constitutions quite perplexing.
"I'm being kind, letting you die with full understanding," the demon grinned menacingly.
Qin Feng nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, very kind. In that case, I'll make your end a little easier."
