Flight Attendant

Enemies meet, sparks fly. The window of the airplane reflected a small face flushed with anger, the corners of her mouth twitching violently before she forced a polite smile. 0

“Sir, the plane is about to take off. Please turn off your device.” 0

Lin Xinyue tried to keep her voice steady and professional. As an excellent Flight Attendant, she had to maintain her composure even in front of this man who made her grit her teeth in frustration. 0

The man she referred to as "Sir"—Liao Tiru—was momentarily stunned, as if frozen in place. Then, suddenly, he jumped up like a monkey, bouncing onto his seat and shouting, “Lin Xinyue, what are you doing here!” 0

Her mouth twitched in annoyance as Lin Xinyue adjusted her expression, her eyes slightly twitching. 0

She straightened up, lifted her chin, and smoothed out her uniform. The crisp attire made her look both capable and elegant. Taking a deep breath, she maintained an almost perfect smile and said, “Mr. Monkey, this is not a theater. Please return to your seat and do not disturb the other passengers. Thank you for your cooperation.” 0

“Monkey…” Liao Tiru instinctively glanced around upon hearing the nickname, realizing that his antics had indeed drawn the attention of other passengers. 0

Feeling somewhat embarrassed, he stood up awkwardly and muttered, “I want to switch to economy class.” What he didn’t know was that Lin Xinyue was the one serving in first class today. 0

Lin Xinyue felt a sharp pang in her heart but quickly composed herself. With a deeper breath and an even brighter smile, she replied, “Liao Tiru, the economy class is fully booked. If you don’t like first class, you can exit from there—” 0

She extended her slender arm and pointed straight out of the window. “Thank you for your understanding.” 0

Liao Tiru pressed his lips together, weighing the options between getting off the plane or being stuck with Lin Xinyue. Ultimately, he reluctantly settled back into his seat. He reminded her excitedly, “Just don’t come near me.” 0

Lin Xinyue rolled her eyes and displayed that unnervingly elegant smile again as she said, “As long as you don’t seek trouble, I’ll gladly pretend I don’t know you.” 0

Hearing this, Liao Tiru finally relaxed. 0

Throughout the flight, his beautiful big eyes darted around as he watched Lin Xinyue happily attend to other passengers with a look of confusion on his face. 0

Is this really the same Lin Xinyue who used to be so rough and tough? 0

Liao Tiru smirked, thinking to himself how surprising it was that she had come to be a high-class "maid" on the plane, looking so pleased with herself. 0

With a quick glance, Liao Tiru suddenly raised his right hand and shouted, "Hey, bring me a glass of milk!" 0

Although Lin Xinyue shot him a fierce glare, she still brought over the milk. 0

Looking at the milk, Liao Tiru recalled how she had once made him feel utterly embarrassed in the past. A mischievous smile crept onto his lips as he called out again, "Hey, how about a glass of orange juice!" 0

"Hey, coffee." 0

"Ah, a glass of plain water would be nice." 0

"Oh, I'm so hungry..." 0

Liao Tiru seemed to be enjoying himself, continuously ordering Lin Xinyue around. 0

After the thirteenth round, Lin Xinyue still wore a smile on her face, but the fire in her eyes was unmistakable, as if it could erupt at any moment. 0

Liao Tiru pretended not to notice and continued to call for more after finishing his meal—another glass of water, another cup of coffee... It seemed he was truly enjoying pushing his luck. 0

Lin Xinyue was furious but felt helpless; due to her position, she couldn't do much about him. But once they were off the plane... hmph... 0

Half an hour later, as the plane landed, Lin Xinyue stood at the cabin door with a smile on her face, politely seeing the passengers off. 0

Liao Tiru was among the last to exit. A look of appreciation spread across his sun-kissed face as he said, "Lin Xinyue, after eight years, you finally look like a woman." 0

In her elegant flight attendant uniform, it was hard for him to associate her with the rough person she had been eight years ago. "What an astonishing transformation!" 0

Today, it seemed her facial nerves were deliberately working against her; she smiled even more sweetly and replied, "Liao Tiru, after running away from your wedding, you've certainly turned back time. Please take care." 0

As she spoke, she slightly bent forward, her fingers gesturing gracefully, embodying the perfect image of an Eastern girl in the eyes of Westerners. 0

Liao Tiru's expression flickered for a moment as he said, "It's true what they say, a woman changes greatly at eighteen. Eight years ago, you..." 0

He seemed to reminisce for a moment, suddenly contorting his features and closing his eyes tightly, exaggerating how dreadful it had been. 0

Lin Xinyue swore to herself that she really wanted to take off her high heels and smash them against his head. However, the uniform she wore and her professional demeanor reminded her to endure. 0

So, she continued to smile, watching him display a look of satisfaction. 0

"Ah, if you had been this beautiful eight years ago, I wouldn't have run away from the wedding..." 0

Lin Xinyue's eyes turned cold as she extended her right foot, successfully hooking Liao Tiru's leg. With a loud "thud," he lost his balance and fell forward, crashing heavily down the steps of the plane. 0

"Oh my God!" The surrounding passengers gasped in shock. 0

The consequences were unprecedented; the sudden flashes of cameras were relentless. 0

A few hours later, the entertainment section's headline read—Liao Consortium's young master, rising producer Liao Tiru, took a spectacular tumble! 0

At the same time, Lin Xinyue, having changed out of her uniform, was in the locker room smashing a cabinet with a newspaper while laughing heartily, "Hahaha! God is wise, and Buddha is merciful!" 0
