Lin Han stepped down from the arena, having become the second legendary Beast Master to take on seven challengers at this year's Star Dragon Festival. Unlike Zhou Tong, however, Beiyi Academy ranked quite high among all the Beastmaster Academies.
That evening, when Lin Han and his companions arrived at Zhu Yue Hotel, they were greeted by a massive bouquet placed at the entrance. The bouquet radiated with energy, maintained by Magic Element. All the energy lights in the hotel were lit, illuminating half of Di Jing's sky as bright as day.
In front of the hotel stood a magnificent fountain powered entirely by Beast Master energy, continuously exuding a sacred aura. Such treatment was something even several Graduate Schools had never experienced upon entering a hotel; it was clear who had arrived.
As the Dragon Tooth Squad entered the hotel lobby, they spotted Zhang Xianyue waiting for them in a wheelchair.
"It's been a while," Zhang Xianyue said politely. Despite being in a wheelchair, he still exuded a relaxed demeanor. As he watched Lin Han and the others approach, he continued, "I didn't want to disturb you during your competition. I made Little Boss wait a bit longer; we wanted to observe another match to better understand our opponents."
Lin Han smiled, feeling excited about this wealthy friend. The last time they met, those Beast Masters had gotten lost on Taihua Mountain and inadvertently helped Lin Han settle his debts with Yuelun Auction House. Shortly after Lin Han transferred Star Dragon Coin to the Auction House, he received a package from Zhang Xianyue claiming it contained discounted Beast Eggs that Lin Han had to accept.
Now seeing his friend again, Lin Han felt a twinge of helplessness. "Your legs still haven't recovered?"
"The doctors have checked me and said there are no lingering injuries; my legs are immobile due to energy conflict," Zhang Xianyue replied with a shake of his head. Being neither a Beast Master nor able to sense energy himself made it difficult for him to understand these matters.
Noticing the somber expressions on the faces of the Dragon Tooth Squad members, Zhang Xianyue quickly added, "I know you all are staying at the hotel tonight, so I've instructed the kitchen to prepare an exquisite banquet for you. It's to celebrate your victory in today's match!"
Upon hearing this, their eyes lit up with excitement.
They were staying at the Zhu Yue Hotel, with all expenses covered by the hotel. However, the issue of meals was proving to be a headache for them. As the most prestigious hotel in the Star Dragon Empire, Zhu Yue offered a wide variety of dishes, ensuring that they had access to all the culinary delights the empire had to offer.
But the prices were somewhat difficult to bear. So, after a few days, their meals had not been extravagant, especially since Lin Han had personally footed the bill for a couple of basic meals for the team.
The members of the Dragon Tooth Squad immediately made their way to the restaurant at Zhu Yue Hotel. At this moment, Lin Han had his hands resting on the handles of Zhang Xianyue's wheelchair. This state-of-the-art wheelchair didn’t require manual effort to propel, but it was still nice to have someone assist.
Zhang Xianyue, being the Yuelun Boss, was greeted by many as soon as they entered the restaurant. As a prominent figure behind various bounty missions for Graduate Schools and a participant among Beast Masters, he was well recognized by those around him.
As they passed through, three or four people walked by with expressionless faces, but upon seeing Lin Han, there was a flicker of something unusual in their eyes.
