On the narrow path strewn with mechanical debris, the four members of the Squad remained vigilant. It had been half a day since they left the lower levels of the Mechanical Maze City. Zhou Qingqing's injuries had nearly healed under the care of Xue Wushuang and the Holy Light Grass.
After bidding farewell, the kind-hearted machines resumed their exploration of the upper levels. The Dungeon had undergone significant changes in its main storyline, and their priority was to exit this Dungeon as quickly as possible. Initially, they had entered the Dungeon for an exploration mission, but they never expected such drastic alterations within.
During the automatic refresh of the Dungeon, they found themselves trapped once again. The only way to escape now was to defeat the final boss of the Dungeon once more. However, a more pressing issue loomed before them. The map of the Dungeon had completely transformed after the refresh.
As they dealt with the pursuing mechanical guards and the Pioneer, returning to the upper level where they had originally been, they were taken aback by the scene before them. The area was no longer in ruins; instead, countless towering buildings filled with mechanical aesthetics stood tall.
Qin Luoxi turned to Chen Huan'er, who nodded in understanding. Raising her hand, Ling Ya spread her wings and soared into the air, vanishing among the towering structures in an instant. Chen Huan'er's left eye underwent a transformation, her silver pupil reflecting an overview of this Steel Jungle from above.
"Can we find the location of the Magma Core?" Qin Luoxi's voice came from beside her. Chen Huan'er slowly shook her head as she continued to fly further away with Ling Ya, her gaze stretching infinitely.
"The entire upper area has changed; I don't see any obvious markers. This place now resembles a city with its own civilization," Chen Huan'er replied thoughtfully.
The brows of Qin Luoxi and the others furrowed; their main quest was to locate that alien creature, yet they currently had no clear objective.
Xue Wushuang suggested, "Let's wander around for a bit; perhaps we can find some clues."
It can only be this way; everyone, stay alert.
Zhou Qingqing radiated a layer of light as her Guardian Knight talent activated.
"Did you not notice?"
At that moment, Qin Luoxi's voice suddenly turned serious.
Xue Wushuang and Zhou Qingqing turned their gazes toward Qin Luoxi, unsure of what her words meant.
"Check your Status panel," Qin Luoxi prompted.
The two quickly reacted and looked at their panels, only to see a new Status added next to their names.
When they realized what it was, their expressions changed dramatically.
