The amusement park had already descended into chaos as five Hellhounds, each towering over three or four people, charged into the panicked crowd.
Screams and cries filled the air as tourists, gripped by fear, ran around like headless flies. The streets became a scene of trampling and collisions, plunging into utter disorder. One Hellhound leaped into the throng, its massive paws crashing down, sending people tumbling backward in shock.
Beneath the Hellhound's feet, several desperate bystanders let out wails of horror. The creature lowered its head, its crimson beastly eyes fixated on its prey. Its mouth, lined with sharp fangs, opened wide and bit through a person's body completely. Blood splattered from the Hellhound's enormous jaws, dripping onto the ground.
The five Hellhounds began their reckless hunt and slaughter, their immense size and terrifying strength rendering the crowd like lambs to the slaughter, constantly facing the threat of death.
A little girl sat quietly on a bench, her head bowed as she gently stroked the increasingly cold head nestled in her arms.
Meanwhile, in the Jin Family's estate, chaos reigned. Reports indicated that their territory had been struck by a terrifying attack, likely orchestrated by Professionals above Level Ten. Local police forces dispatched to the scene had lost all contact, leaving the situation uncertain. The anticipated casualties among ordinary citizens had already exceeded ten thousand.
Listening to his subordinate's report over the phone, Jin Congyun, the newly appointed head of the Jin Family, felt a few more strands of hair fall from his already thinning scalp.
"What is happening? Can someone tell me what is going on?" he exclaimed in frustration.
Professionals above Level Ten were not to be trifled with; how dare they come onto my territory causing trouble!
"Calm down," said a slightly hunched servant beside Jin Congyun. "The police are seeking our assistance. Our people have already gone to the scene to suppress the chaos."
"Those are Professionals above Level Ten," he continued. "This is a major crisis for us; we must seek aid from the Empire. Contact the Military Academy and request their assistance in quelling this situation."
"We need to stabilize things before casualties continue to rise; otherwise, our position in this city will be at risk!" Jin Congyun said gravely before pausing for a moment. "By the way, who is assisting with the suppression?"
Returning home was led by Fourth Young Master along with his Squad. The family could rest assured; with Fourth Young Master's strength, he would surely stabilize the current situation for the Jin Family.
Jin Congyun did not say more, and at that moment...
In front of the Blazing Fire building, a fashionable young man strode forward, followed by three others dressed in ancient-style long robes, each adorned with a golden character embroidered on their chests.
