"Don't rush, your moment will come. Now, let's solve this together!" Lin Han declared, enveloped in a layer of fiery film as the Blazing Fire Qilin's racial talent, Flame Sovereign, activated.
The Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus on the field suddenly slammed down with its claw towards the Blazing Fire Qilin and Lin Han, arcs of electricity swirling around it capable of crushing anything that came into contact.
"Circle behind it and find an opportunity!" Lin Han commanded. The Blazing Fire Qilin moved swiftly on its four legs, leaving deep impressions in the ground as it leaped into the air amidst the gasps of the audience.
To their astonishment, the Blazing Fire Qilin was moving rapidly through the air, flames gathering beneath its feet as if they were tangible. To the spectators, it appeared as though the Blazing Fire Qilin was leisurely strolling through the sky.
The Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus struck at empty space with its claw, scorching and cracking the ground beneath. It let out a furious roar and lunged at the airborne Blazing Fire Qilin with both hands.
"Blazing Flames Burning the Sky!" Lin Han ordered again. The flames surrounding the Blazing Fire Qilin became even more dazzling in mid-air, large swathes of fire beginning to coalesce and crash down upon the massive body of the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus.
As the flames touched its armor-like scales, they seemed to have little effect. "Do not engage it head-on. Control the flames to explode before they get too close, and wear down its strength as much as possible!" Lin Han continued to issue commands. Perhaps due to their mutual understanding, the Blazing Fire Qilin responded with incredible speed.
With another roar, it dodged a furious strike from the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus and suddenly accelerated, transforming into a blaze of fire as it leaped onto the creature's head alongside Lin Han.
The sky above seemed ignited by flames as vast waves of fire gathered like a burning sea scorching the heavens. Suddenly, a voice echoed in Lin Han's mind.
"Congratulations, host! The Blazing Fire Qilin has learned a new skill; please name it yourself."
Lin Han was taken aback for a moment before an overwhelming torrent of flames cascaded down from above, engulfing the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus like countless shooting stars falling from the sky.
The creature was almost completely covered by flames. A series of violent explosions erupted in quick succession, leaving chaos in their wake as the furious roars of the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus filled the air.
At that moment, Han Fei also let out a pained groan, trembling violently as more purple arcs of electricity crackled around him, seemingly enduring pain akin to that of the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus itself.
As the smoke cleared, the Blazing Fire Qilin's recent assault had clearly been effective. The surface of the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus was charred and blackened, its scales smoldering, while the thunder that coiled around its body dimmed.
The dragon eyes of the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus were now fixed intently on the Blazing Fire Qilin, and Lin Han felt an unsettling weight in that gaze.
"Blazing Fire Qilin, circle around to its back and take it down!" Lin Han commanded. The Blazing Fire Qilin ignited with flames and suddenly dove downward.
But just then, a voice filled with anger and tremors echoed from afar—Han Fei's voice.
"What are you waiting for? Kill them! Hurry! I am your master; do not attempt to defy my will!"
Upon hearing Han Fei's words, the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus's eyes flared with rage and resentment. Just when Lin Han thought it would obey, the creature abruptly turned around and lunged at Han Fei with its massive jaws!
What is happening?!
Lin Han was taken aback, quickly realizing that something was off with both Han Fei and the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus. He urgently called out to the Blazing Fire Qilin, "Blazing Fire Qilin, save him!"
But it was clearly too late. Not only Lin Han but even the Judging Instructor outside recognized that something was amiss in the match; there was no time to intervene.
As the Purple Lightning Tyrannosaurus prepared to swallow Han Fei whole, a sudden declaration rang out.
"With my body, I shall protect you."
A Jin Mang appeared beneath Han Fei's feet, and in an instant, her figure materialized in a nearby pit.
The arena was filled with a heavy thud as a tremendous collision resounded.
