A sudden noise echoed through the room, and Xue Wushuang's face darkened. The three who were supposed to be far away—Qin Luoxi, Zhou Qingqing, and Chen Huan'er—were all present!
Lin Han felt a bit speechless. It was one thing for Chen Huan'er and Zhou Qingqing to be here, but why was Qin Luoxi, a grown man, also joining in on the fun?
Qin Luoxi stood directly at the door, reacting the quickest. He was the first to rise, while Chen Huan'er and Zhou Qingqing fell to the ground one after another, looking awkwardly at Lin Han.
"Are you done? Weren't we supposed to get revenge for Fat Cat Brother? We need to start training," Chen Huan'er said somewhat sheepishly.
Lin Han looked at Qin Luoxi with a half-smile. "Are you here for our training too?"
"Yeah," Qin Luoxi replied, tilting his head slightly and giving a soft affirmative before casually turning to walk down the corridor.

This was the training room prepared by the academy for various squads; it was quite spacious. Xue Wushuang swaggered in, pushing open the large door with a grand gesture.
Chen Huan'er smiled without saying a word, while Qin Luoxi completely ignored Xue Wushuang and followed Lin Han inside.
Zhou Qingqing rolled her eyes at Xue Wushuang and said lightly, "Come on, this training room costs thirty points per hour. Stop dawdling."
Seeing that no one was paying attention to him, Xue Wushuang shrugged and quickly closed the door behind him. Outside the training room, three prominent characters were projected: "Training Room."
Inside the training room, Lin Han surveyed his surroundings. This place resembled more of an indoor arena than a training room. There were spectator seats on both sides, and the central area had a polished marble floor illuminated by bright lights above, making the space feel even more expansive.
Lin Han organized everyone into a line and spoke in a calm tone.
The day after tomorrow is the Freshman Competition, and we will face off against Han Fei and the Dragon Consort Squad. We are not sure about their strength, so we must not slack off now.
Zhou Qingqing glanced at Xue Wushuang with a teasing smile, noticing how uncomfortable Xue Wushuang seemed.
"Don't worry, Captain. This is about our team member Xue Wushuang; we will definitely give it our all."
Lin Han ignored their banter and continued speaking. "In the past few days, I received a mission from the Awakening Temple to advance. Now I need to understand your situations—your levels and beast types. This is the first step for us to know each other better and achieve better cooperation. I hope everyone can be open."
"I'll go first. I’m Lin Han, Level 5, with the talent Steel Body and Creation Eye. My beasts are the Level 5 Dark Black Tortoise and Inferno Kirin, which can serve as team support and output."
"With the Dark Black Tortoise, I can alter the terrain to release my domain, giving me good crowd control abilities. The Blazing Fire Qilin allows me high mobility to constantly interrupt the enemy's actions and disrupt their attack rhythm."
Hearing Lin Han's detailed description, the members of the Dragon Tooth Squad became serious.
Chen Huan'er stepped forward first, her small face serious as she introduced herself. "I’m Chen Huan'er, Level 5, with the talent Beast Whisperer. My beast is a Level 5 Ling Ya. As for my role, I can cast some supportive spells and also provide good vision for the team on the battlefield."
Zhou Qingqing followed closely behind and stepped forward to address the Dragon Tooth Squad. "I’m Zhou Qingqing, Level 5, with the talent Guardian Knight. My beast is a Level 5 Centaur, serving as a frontline tank for protective support."
Zhou Qingqing's introduction was brief but sounded very reliable.
Lin Han nodded in satisfaction and then turned to Xue Wushuang, but he heard Qin Luoxi's cold voice from behind him.
