Another Diamond Level?
Lin Han raised an eyebrow, gripping the silver cross tightly in his hand as a message appeared.
【Name】Bloodstained Cross
【Location】Badge
【Level】Diamond Beginner
【Nature】Guardian Type
【Introduction: A certain entity descended upon a village and took a liking to the only Monastery there, transforming it into a part of itself. The last remaining Nun was turned into its servant, and on that day, blood stained the young girl's chest cross.】
【Bearer can exempt three instances of external damage daily, with a limit of Diamond Level attack judgment.】
It’s not a bad item, but compared to my own Steel Body, it seems somewhat redundant.
Perhaps I should give it to Fat Cat as a gift; he could use some accessories like this.
Lin Han mused to himself as he strode past the gradually dissipating form of the Nun, making his way to the central platform of the church.
There stood a statue, quietly poised, its features delicate as if it were alive. Lin Han could even faintly see the veins beneath the skin of its face. In the statue's hands was a silver cup, resembling a Western chalice, filled with a dark red viscous liquid.
The Fallen Holy Grail is in hand.
Lin Han reached for the Silver Cup held by the statue; his reflection emerged in the blood-like liquid, gradually distorting and decaying.
Feeling uneasy, Lin Han decided against reading the Introduction, tossing it directly into his space instead.
With the Hell Book, Old Greatsword, and now the Fallen Holy Grail, he only needed three more items to complete his collection. Time was of the essence; he wondered how the rest of the Dragon Tooth Squad was faring.
Lin Han stretched his limbs as the Blazing Fire Qilin leaped up from his Beast Space. He skillfully mounted its back and broke through the blood-stained doors of the Monastery, departing with purpose.
Flames engulfed the Blazing Fire Qilin, yet Lin Han felt no heat rising from its back.
As it galloped away, he was swiftly carried away from the smoke-filled village, and the surrounding scenery began to warp and change.
Lin Han faced what lay ahead with indifference; he had grown accustomed to such sights—from the cave where the Blazing Fire Qilin gained its fortune, to skeleton-filled caverns, and now this blood-soaked Monastery.
The surrounding scene had no connection whatsoever, as if it had been forcibly stitched together by this realm. From the equipment and accessories produced this time, Lin Han had reason to suspect that this place was not the same realm he had initially entered in the Ancient Demon Prison.
The scene returned to normal once again, and before Lin Han could give any orders, the Blazing Fire Qilin erupted in flames around it, a roar of the qilin echoing through the air. The thick mist that enveloped the area began to dissipate, and when Lin Han could finally see the surroundings clearly, he couldn't help but feel speechless.
Barren land stretched out before him under a sky that seemed perpetually shrouded in darkness, with crooked and twisted gravestones scattered throughout. This was a graveyard.
As expected, in the next moment, a rustling sound arose from the ground, followed by countless skeletal remains emerging from beneath the earth. The familiar sound of bones clattering filled the air as corpses slowly crawled out from the desolate ground shrouded in mist.
First came the Fire Spirits, then skeletons, and now it was the turn of zombies. Lin Han sighed helplessly as he watched one stiffly moving zombie after another, their bodies severely decayed. He didn't even want to make contact with them using his fists and raised his palm instead.
Under the silent night sky, a sudden thunderous roar erupted. The Dark Black Tortoise, its massive form resembling a mountain, appeared out of nowhere and crashed down violently, causing the ground to tremble.
