The two individuals were momentarily stunned by the sudden attack. Before them, a massive tortoise-like creature opened its enormous mouth, continuously gathering energy for a Water Arrow Attack. Meanwhile, on the other side, a fiery creature resembling a Qilin surrounded by flames was preparing to unleash its own assault.
Lin Han, however, had vanished behind the beast, remaining hidden from view. Although they couldn't see him, the two immediately made the connection upon witnessing the combination of water and fire attacks. They were tracking that person, who was indeed using Elemental Power in battle.
"Is it him?" one of them asked.
"It is him!"
In an instant, their expressions shifted dramatically. With a powerful roar, their mastery over beasts surged explosively. Both of them commanded lions, tigers, and leopards as their beasts, and they unleashed an even greater strength that temporarily pushed back the combined forces of the Fire Spirit Squad.
As soon as they created some distance, their beasts charged toward Lin Han's location with ferocity. The murderous intent in their eyes was chilling.
Lin Han had anticipated this scenario. He did not wish to expend too much energy fighting these two. After all, not far away were five squads of the Fire Spirit Squad watching closely.
Thus, he summoned the tortoise's power: "Vajra Barrier!"
A massive protective shield materialized, blocking the attacks from the two beasts and cutting off their escape route. When their strikes finally landed on the Vajra Barrier, they realized just how formidable its defense truly was.
"How can this be?!"
"This guy's strength exceeds our expectations!"
Despite still controlling their beasts to attack, they constantly observed the battlefield in search of a breakthrough opportunity. However, the reality of their situation was overwhelmingly despairing.
With enemies pursuing from the front and blocking from behind, neither side was something they could easily handle. Lin Han did not miss any opportunity to strike at the enemy while defending.
As five members of the Fire Spirit Squad charged at the two, Lin Han launched a relentless series of attacks. Water Arrow Barrage and Blazing Fire Devastation alternated in a fierce bombardment. The condition of the two worsened rapidly; they gradually found themselves unable to counterattack, forced to endure the onslaught passively.
Damn it! Lin Han cursed inwardly as he observed the situation in the arena. These two were far too clever. He had initially hoped to let them take down a few more Fire Spirits, allowing him to reap the benefits. However, upon seeing him, they had focused solely on him as their target, giving him no chance to gain a significant advantage. Even when faced with imminent death, they refused to expend their energy on the Fire Spirit Squad for his sake.
Lin Han felt helpless; he had hoped to capture one alive to inquire about what was going on and why they were tracking him. But now, with the Fire Spirit Squad launching a frenzied assault, it seemed that before he could even make a move to capture them, these two would be killed.
Xuanwu, activate Dark Domain! Lin Han suddenly had an idea and immediately commanded the Dark Black Tortoise. Darkness began to spread from within the Dark Black Tortoise, quickly enveloping all participants in the battle. The two were taken aback and hurriedly attempted to retreat beyond the darkness.
