"Uncle Lu, what experiment are you planning to conduct?" Lin Han asked.
Lu Yuansheng did not answer directly. Instead, he pulled out a mirror and a bottle of liquor from the Beast Space.
"What is this?" Xue Wushuang asked, puzzled.
He recognized the bottle; it was Agave. However, this only deepened his confusion. Why bring out a mirror and half a bottle of liquor?
"Are you planning to have a drink before the experiment?" Xue Wushuang added.
This echoed the curiosity of everyone present, who turned their gazes toward Lu Yuansheng.
Lu Yuansheng set down the bottle and held up the mirror, introducing it: "This mirror is called the Soul Mirror; it is a piece of Legendary equipment. Its purpose is to cleanse some of the impurities and chaos within a soul."
"Legendary Equipment?" Chen Huan'er’s eyes lit up. She had never seen Legendary equipment before and was surprised that this seemingly ordinary mirror was so precious.
"Purifying souls?" Qin Luoxi murmured.
If that were the case, she began to understand Lu Yuansheng's plan.
Lu Yuansheng then picked up the half bottle of Agave and continued, "This is not just liquor; it is a secret potion called Agave made by Carlos."
"Carlos? That name sounds familiar," Zhou Qingqing said hesitantly.
"Carlos was a King-Level Beast Egg master from hundreds of years ago. His talent was related to souls, and he was a renowned alchemist skilled in creating magical potions," Qin Luoxi explained.
"Yes, this bottle contains Master Carlos's secret potion Agave, which can help soul-type beings regain a bit of their consciousness from when they were alive," Lu Yuansheng said.
"Uncle Lu, are you trying to use these two items to help the Youming Ghost General regain consciousness and then inquire about the origins here?" Lin Han asked.
After hearing about these two items' functions, he had already confirmed Lu Yuansheng's intentions. He just hadn't expected that Lu Yuansheng had prepared so much in advance.
It seemed that his son Lu Zhenyao's situation was indeed weighing heavily on him.
"Yes, I prepared these things two days before entering the ruins. I didn't expect there would actually be an opportunity," Lu Yuansheng replied, his tone tinged with excitement.
"Then let's get started quickly!" Lin Han said.
Lu Yuansheng approached the Youming Ghost General, who was now extremely weak, slumped on the ground and motionless. Lu Yuansheng took out the Agave and pried open the Youming Ghost General's mouth to pour it in.
As the throat convulsed, half a bottle of Agave potion was swallowed by the Youming Ghost General. The droplets of the potion rapidly spread throughout his body, even reaching his soul.
Under the nurturing effect of the potion, the dark aura surrounding the Youming Ghost General was further suppressed. Deep within his soul, which had been buried for tens of thousands of years, a glimmer of rationality began to shine through.
Lin Han and the others were unaware of the changes occurring within the Youming Ghost General's body; however, everyone noticed the significant reduction in the dark aura.
"Uncle Lu, it's time to proceed to the next step," Lin Han reminded.
Lu Yuansheng immediately took out the Soul Mirror. Standing before the massive head of the Youming Ghost General, he softly called out, "You have slept long enough; it is time to wake up!"
