Lin Han left the Awakening Temple with a sense of joy and immediately headed towards the largest Xie Yi Shop in Su City. This Xie Yi Shop was said to be part of a chain throughout the Star Dragon Empire, owned by a noble family within the same empire. However, Lin Han wasn't particularly interested in such matters and had never taken the time to learn more about them.
Upon arriving at the Xie Yi Shop, he was quickly greeted by a receptionist.
"Welcome! What brings you here today? Are you looking to buy something?" The receptionist looked Lin Han up and down. Even in that brief moment, Lin Han could sense the disdain in her eyes.
He couldn't deny that his attire consisted of cheap clothing; after all, he only needed clothes that were functional.
"I'm here to sell something," Lin Han replied softly.
The receptionist couldn't help but chuckle. "Sir, our Xie Yi Shop doesn’t accept just anything. If you have some old rags, I suggest you turn left; there are a few street vendors there. If you can spin a good story, you might be able to sell something for a bit of money."
Hearing this, Lin Han frowned slightly. Just then...
A Beast Egg suddenly appeared in his hand!
What is this?!
The Receptionist was taken aback! How could he possibly not recognize a Beast Egg? Even if he lacked the ability to appraise such things, he could clearly see that this Beast Egg was not of Bronze Level! Any Beast of Silver Level would naturally have an extraordinary price! It could easily be worth a million or more!
Who is this kid?!
Logically speaking, anyone who could produce something like this would be from a family of nobility. After all his time working here, he had seen nearly all the young heirs from the families of Su City. Yet, he had never heard of someone like this before!
"Please, this way!"
Despite a thousand questions swirling in his mind, the Receptionist dared not hesitate after recalling his previous demeanor. He even wanted to slap himself! A person of such stature was not someone he could afford to offend! With just one word, the other party could make it impossible for him to continue living in Su City!
Lin Han had no intention of lingering and followed right in.
Soon, a middle-aged man in a suit and tie walked out. The man's eyes hesitated briefly on the Beast Egg in Lin Han's hand before he proceeded to where he was headed.
"Are you here to sell the Beast Egg in your hand?"
"No, I'm not selling it."
"Not selling it?" Manager Jiang was taken aback. "Then what the hell are you doing wandering around here with a Beast Egg? Are you just playing around?"
"What do you expect me to do if I'm not selling it?" Lin Han replied slowly after a brief pause.
"Huh?" Manager Jiang's previously tense expression instantly relaxed, and he wiped the cold sweat from his brow. "Are you messing with me?"
"Please, this way."
"Okay!"
Lin Han followed him slowly and, when they reached the spot where he had been received earlier, he whispered, "I'll remember you."
Immediately after, he followed Manager Jiang deeper into the establishment, leaving the receptionist standing there, pale as a ghost. "Remembering me is the end; this is really bad!"
Eventually, Lin Han and Manager Jiang arrived at a VIP room.
