Lin Xu stood at the door of the classroom, taking a deep breath as her fingers tightly gripped the straps of her backpack. The conversation with Ye Feng from yesterday still echoed in her ears, giving her a glimmer of courage. But as she pushed the door open and saw the familiar yet strange faces in the classroom, that courage vanished in an instant. 0

"Well, if it isn't Lin Xu?" He Miao's sharp voice pierced through the morning's tranquility. "I heard you chose Liberal Arts? What’s wrong? Did you find science too difficult and want an easy way out?" 0

Lin Xu lowered her head and hurried to her seat, pretending not to hear He Miao's taunts. But her face was already as red as a ripe apple, and her ears buzzed with embarrassment. 0

"Don't mind her," Ji Jiumei whispered from the seat next to her. "She's just jealous of you." 0

Lin Xu forced a smile, but inside, she felt turmoil. She knew this was just the beginning. Choosing Liberal Arts was like throwing a stone into a calm lake, creating countless ripples. During physics class, Lin Xu secretly took out her political science textbook, hoping to review a bit. She knew it was wrong, but she simply couldn't focus on the lecture. The complex formulas and theories looked like an alien language to her. 0

"Lin Xu!" The physics teacher's stern voice suddenly rang out, startling her so much that she almost jumped out of her chair. "Come up and solve this problem." 0

Panicking, Lin Xu stood up, her palms sweaty and heart racing. She stared blankly at the problem on the board, her mind a complete blank. 0

"I... I can't..." Her voice was barely audible. 0

A wave of snickers erupted in the classroom, with He Miao's voice cutting through sharply: "Teacher, Lin Xu chose Liberal Arts; how could she possibly solve a physics problem?" 0

The teacher frowned slightly, disappointment creeping into his tone. "Lin Xu, even though you've chosen Liberal Arts, you're still in a science class and need to pay attention. Sit down." 0

As Lin Xu sat back down, she felt as if all her strength had been drained away. She lowered her head, tears welling up in her eyes, but she fought hard to keep them from spilling over. 0

"Don't be sad," Ji Jiumei quietly slipped her a note. "You're not alone." Lin Xu unfolded the note to find a cute smiley face drawn on it. A warmth spread through her heart, and she couldn't help but smile faintly. 0

When the bell rang for class dismissal, Lin Xu felt a wave of relief wash over her. She hurriedly packed her bag, eager to escape the suffocating atmosphere of the classroom. 0

"Lin Xu," Ye Feng's voice called from behind her. "Are you okay?" Turning around, she met his concerned gaze and felt a surge of emotion welling up inside her. But she held back the tears and forced a smile. "I'm fine." 0

Ye Feng seemed like he wanted to say something more but ultimately just patted her shoulder gently. "Don't pay attention to what they say. Your choice is not wrong." Lin Xu nodded and quickly left the classroom; she needed a quiet place to collect herself. 0

In the bathroom, Lin Xu stood in front of the mirror, looking at her weary reflection. Taking a deep breath, she spoke to herself in the mirror: "Lin Xu, you can do this. Don't give up." Just as she was about to leave, she overheard voices coming from one of the stalls. 0

"Did you hear? Ye Feng got punished for standing during history class." "Really? Isn't he a top student?" "I heard it was because he got caught reading an English book during class." 0

Lin Xu froze. Ye Feng—the perfect Ye Feng in her eyes—could also make mistakes? This realization brought her some comfort and even made her want to laugh. 0

She tiptoed out of the bathroom, feeling much lighter inside. It turned out that everyone had their own struggles and difficulties. 0

Back in the classroom, Lin Xu found that the teacher was assigning tasks for moving books. 0

"These books need to be moved to the Liberal Arts building," the teacher said. "Who would like to help?" 0

The classroom fell silent. After hesitating for a moment, Lin Xu raised her hand: "Teacher, I can help." 0

The teacher nodded approvingly: "Great, thank you." 0

As Lin Xu began moving books, she quickly realized that this task was much harder than she had anticipated. The books were heavy and the Liberal Arts building was located in another building altogether. Gritting her teeth, she made trip after trip until sweat soaked through her clothes. 0

"Need any help?" A familiar voice called out. Lin Xu looked up to see Ye Feng standing before her with a warm smile on his face. 0

"I... I can manage on my own," Lin Xu said stubbornly, not wanting to appear weak in front of Ye Feng. Ye Feng smiled and, without hesitation, picked up a stack of books. "Two people are always faster than one." 0

He turned and shouted to the classroom, "Everyone, come help out! With so many books, Lin Xu can't move them all by herself!" Slowly, some students began to respond. First it was Ji Jiumei, followed by a few classmates who usually kept to themselves. Soon, a human chain formed, and the books were quickly passed to the Liberal Arts building. Watching this scene unfold, Lin Xu felt a warm surge in her heart. She stole a glance at Ye Feng and found him smiling at her. 0

"See?" Ye Feng said, "You're not alone." 0

Lin Xu felt her eyes welling up with tears. She remembered what Ye Feng had told her last night: "You're much stronger than you think." 0

Perhaps she really could do it. Perhaps choosing Liberal Arts was not a wrong decision after all. After moving the books, Lin Xu felt sore all over, but her heart was filled with strength. She looked at Ye Feng's back and suddenly realized that he was like a ray of sunshine in her life—warm and bright, bringing her hope and courage. 0

"Ye Feng," she mustered the courage to call out to him, "thank you." Ye Feng turned around with a radiant smile. "No need to thank me. Remember, you chose Liberal Arts; you have to stick with it. I believe you can do it." 0

Lin Xu nodded, her gaze resolute. "I will. I will work hard and won't let you down." Ye Feng looked at her with a glimmer of admiration in his eyes. "That's good to hear. By the way, are we still meeting for tutoring tonight at the usual place?" 0

"Yes!" Lin Xu nodded vigorously, her heart brimming with anticipation. 0

As she watched Ye Feng walk away, Lin Xu felt something quietly sprouting within her. She knew the road ahead would be long and fraught with challenges. But as long as Ye Feng was by her side, she had the courage to face anything. 0

Taking a deep breath, she clenched her fists. Yes, she chose Liberal Arts; she would see it through to the end. She would prove to everyone that Lin Xu could also shine as brightly as the brightest star. 0
