In the Imperial Phoenix Palace, Feng Rujiao, dressed in her resplendent phoenix attire, wore a grim expression. "Just how many connections does she have with the Imperial Realm?"
Bi Fang Emperor furrowed his brow and replied, "It's not just the Heavenly Emperor keeping an eye on her; Li Shang, Su Ye, and San Sheng are also involved. Now there's another one from Dizang. At this rate, the Phoenix Clan may truly struggle to hold on."
Feng Rujiao's fingers tightened as she pondered. "If we openly kill her now, it would spell disaster for the Phoenix Clan. After all, my father is still in seclusion and hasn't emerged. However, I really don't want to let her go."
Bi Fang Emperor sighed and shook his head. "Wait until your father breaks through to the Imperial Realm before taking action. Even if she has numerous ties to the Imperial Realm, without any blood relation, no one will protect her. The most troublesome one would be Li Shang as her mentor."
Feng Rujiao narrowed her eyes. "Her journey must be aimed at the Han She Clan and Yun Shijiu. If that's the case, let the Phoenix Clan remain quiet for a while and allow the Dragon Clan to take the spotlight."
She chuckled softly. "I want to see whether Yue Qi will side with the Dragon Clan or stubbornly protect Yun Zhi Yue. No matter which side he chooses, it will be difficult for him; his discomfort will bring me some satisfaction!"
Bi Fang Emperor shook his head without speaking further. The Heavenly Queen had watched him grow up; matters of affection were beyond his interference. His only responsibility was to ensure the continuation of the Phoenix Clan.
Though he was not of the Phoenix Clan himself, he felt closest to them and Bi Fang among all beings in the world.
Li Shang was right; the higher one climbed, the lonelier it became. He did not wish to be alone in this world, observing the cycles of life.
After much effort, they finally found Yun Shijiu in a coma within the Han She Clan's Ancestral Domain. The young man looked almost lifeless, with only a faint breath remaining as he was sealed in an ice coffin.
The clan leader of Han She Clan, Han Lian—Han Xi's father—was quite courteous upon Yun Zhi Yue's arrival.
Pointing at the ice coffin, he said, "Yun Shaozong has been Ice Sealed for quite some time. It will take a while to recover his Chaos Power, but I am worried..."
Yun Zhi Yue interjected, "Are you concerned that the Dragon Clan might discover our whereabouts and use it as an excuse to destroy the Han She Clan?"
Han Lian sighed in acknowledgment of this concern.
Han Xi stated firmly, "At worst, we can abandon our clan grounds and let our people retreat into the Ancestral Domain for safety. The Ancestral Domain is a realm left by our ancestors filled with Imperial Realm energy; unless someone from the Imperial Realm intervenes, it won't shatter."
"I refuse to believe that the Dragon Clan would force the Heavenly Emperor to act personally against us. If they are so shameless, then perhaps our fate as the Han She Clan is already sealed. The Dragon Clan is despicable and will eventually lose their position of dominance!"
Yun Zhi Yue affirmed, "The Heavenly Emperor will not personally attack the Han She Clan; he has no reason to do so. Moreover, there are conflicts between him and the Dragon Clan; he won't overly involve himself in their affairs."
Although hiding in the Ancestral Domain might be shameful for the Han She Clan, it would at least preserve their bloodline. With Han Xi's talent, their future would not end here; there would come a day when the Han She Clan would rise again.
Upon hearing this, Han Lian made a decision and ordered his clan members to scout their surroundings. If they saw any signs of an attack from the Dragon Clan, they were to retreat immediately into the Ancestral Domain.
After issuing this command, he felt a sense of relief and gathered with Yun Zhi Yue and Han Xi around Yun Shijiu's ice coffin to discuss matters.
"Yun Shaozong," he began thoughtfully, "I never expected that another brother would forge ties with my Han She Clan. Shijiu possesses extraordinary talent; however, being tied to this Nie Long body is ultimately a curse. If my Han She Clan wishes to soar high from this connection, we must naturally bear some risks."
"Now that we have this relationship with Yun Shaozong," he continued without hesitation, "I do not wish to hide anything anymore. The ancestral spirit of our Dragon Clan speaks of transforming a flood dragon into a true dragon; I desire for that first part of prophecy to come true—Yun Shaozong, can you assist us?"
Yun Zhi Yue glanced at Han Xi without surprise and raised an eyebrow. "So you Han She Clan truly intend to gamble your entire clan's lives on my brother? I wonder what makes you think so highly of him."
Han Xi's expression changed slightly as he lowered his gaze to his abdomen.
At that moment, Yun Zhi Yue's eyes widened in disbelief as she stammered, "Could it be...?"
Han Xi, feeling somewhat awkward, replied, "If that's what you think, then yes, I have Shijiu's bloodline."
Yun Zhi Yue exclaimed in shock, "Have you lost your mind? You're going on adventures while pregnant? After sustaining such injuries, what will happen to the child?"
