The three siblings did not respond to the remark, each continuing with their own tasks, seemingly deaf to what should not have been heard. Ye Lian, seeing this, felt no anger; she thought to herself that she could handle everything on her own. There was no need for them, so they might as well tidy up and head back to Yuan Cheng, as that piece of land needed their environmental care.
Damn, she really didn’t want to go back to sweeping the floor. Despite her online bravado, it was all just talk; sweeping was hardly enjoyable for her.
“Hey, why are you so impatient? That was my brother speaking; how could it represent my thoughts?”
“Look, I’ll take care of this in a few days. You should go home and cool off. If you get too angry, those wrinkles will show on your handsome face. Have you considered finding a woman and having a child?”
Ye Lian picked up her teacup and took a delicate sip, every movement graceful yet her words were less than friendly.
“What do you want from me?”
With a forceful grip, the carefully applied hand mask was ruined, leaving her looking disheveled. Nie Xi glared at Yun Zhi Yue and asked, “How many people have you been flirting with?”
Yun Zhi Yue was speechless; Ye Lian was truly heartless and skilled at sowing discord. It was no wonder she could be friends with the previous Dimension's Dark Rules.
Wanting to explain herself, Nie Xi wouldn’t listen. She stripped off the hand mask with a resentful expression and dragged her upstairs.
The passionate kiss made Yun Zhi Yue realize one thing: Nie Xi wasn’t fooled; she just wanted an excuse to do this. Like every other Dimension he had encountered, the idea of wanting her would never fade away.
Her slender fingers gripped the doorframe tightly, so hard that her knuckles turned white.
“Let me rest for a moment; I can’t stand anymore,” Yun Zhi Yue said in a broken tone as she turned to look at the tireless man behind her.
His chest wasn’t particularly muscular but felt warm against her delicate back.
Nie Xi leaned down behind her and captured her cherry-red lips that had been ravaged, exchanging breaths between them.
After a teasing deep kiss, he said with a smirk, “You can’t stand anymore? But I’m still jealous. If Yue Yue wants to be the Ocean King, she needs to keep the fish calm and feed them properly, right?”
“Get lost with your Ocean King nonsense! Just you alone is enough for me to handle! Why would I willingly seek out such trouble by becoming an Ocean King? Let go!”
“Letting go is impossible, but I can help you save some strength.”
As Nie Xi spoke, he lifted her up in his arms with mischievous intent. Yun Zhi Yue felt herself growing weaker from the stimulation and soon fainted.
Seeing her fainted state, Nie Xi paused for a moment before bursting into laughter: “Didn’t you say you weren’t an ordinary human? You’re far too fragile!”
Fortunately, Yun Zhi Yue couldn’t hear him; otherwise, she would have surely retaliated against his special remarks to teach him about normal human limits.
When Nie Xi went downstairs again, he found Yue Shi and Shijiu still in the living room while Ye Lian had already left. His shirt was wide open, revealing red marks all over his chest.
I leaned back on the sofa and looked at Yun Shijiu. "On our way back to the capital, you mentioned that if you were to kill someone, you'd take me along. Is that for real?"
Yun Shijiu put down his phone and glanced upstairs.
Nie Xi smirked. "No need to look; she's out cold. When it comes to killing and fighting, let's not involve Yue Yue. I can find you a target."
Seeing both Yun Yue Shi and Yun Shijiu turn their attention to him, Nie Xi pulled out his phone, revealing a photo of two men together.
"I know you're wary of the Feng Family, so you probably won't act in the capital. These two are currently out on business, and if all goes well, they'll be back today. We can strike them on the way."
Yun Shijiu raised an eyebrow. "You’ve been hiding quite a bit, huh? I thought you were just a useless little thing who could barely keep warm in bed, but it seems you’ve got some tricks up your sleeve."
