There was something unsettling about the silver metal chains wrapped around the exposed wrists and neck, adding a hint of desire to the otherwise clean appearance.
"Sister, I miss you so much. Why have you left me for so long?"
With a look of grievance, he leaned closer, but Yun Zhi Yue sprang up from her seat, reacting quite dramatically. Yun Zhi Yue stared at his body, as if contemplating something, and then with an apologetic expression said, "Sorry, I forgot that you were afraid of this. Is it okay now? Can I hug you?"
The silver chains vanished, and the young man didn't give Yun Zhi Yue a chance to refuse. He pulled her into his embrace, supporting her hips with one hand while allowing her legs to wrap around his waist. His other hand slid along her waistline and into her clothing, embracing her with a fervent desire.
Miao Miao's eyes widened as she covered her mouth, watching everything unfold, suddenly understanding the rumors about Xiao He Village. She had thought Yun Zhi Yue would resist, but in reality, she did not protest even when Yu Yue pressed her down onto the seat.
As the fabric around her waist shifted upward, revealing a glimpse of her slender waist, a male player sitting behind the tour guide couldn't help but stare for a few seconds. However, his view was quickly obstructed by the sliding hand. He raised his gaze to meet Yu Yue's smile and asked, "Is it beautiful?"
Before he could receive a response, his pupils were pierced by the silver chains that shot through the back of his head, lifting his body off the ground. The horrific inhuman screams that followed were nothing short of a nightmare; Miao Miao had never witnessed someone produce such a painful sound.
The main issue was that they were on a bus where players would recover from injuries. This male player couldn't even die if he wanted to; he was trapped in a cycle of collapse and healing, his wretched cries pushing other players toward their own breaking points.
"Enough! Throw him out!"
As soon as Yun Zhi Yue's words fell, the bus door swung open mid-ride, and the screaming man was sucked out into the void. There was no escaping death for him now, yet just before he was thrown away, he managed to say one word: "Thank you."
Yu Yue and Yun Zhi Yue switched places; Yu Yue took the driver's seat while allowing Yun Zhi Yue to straddle his lap.
Shaking her head disapprovingly, she said, "Sister, you really are strange. Always so soft-hearted—what will you do if you're bullied?"
Yun Zhi Yue replied expressionlessly, "Before I met you, no one ever said I was soft-hearted or bullied me. It’s not that I’m strange; it’s that you are far more cruel than strange. Have you forgotten you're human?"
Yu Yue playfully caressed Yun Zhi Yue's cheek and neck with a wild grin as if oblivious to the gazes of everyone in the vehicle. Gripping Yun Zhi Yue's nape and leaning in for a kiss, he was interrupted by a hand blocking them.
The atmosphere inside the bus grew tense as Yu Yue quieted down and glanced at the Blue-Eyed Man standing beside him.
"Song Huai, do you want to challenge me?"
It's clear enough; there's no need to ask again. I have no particular fondness for her, so I’ll keep my distance.
The silver chain materialized, held firmly in hand, the sound of corrosion was unmistakable as it clashed against the Poison Technique.
The players around us were lost in thought; just moments ago, the two of us had exchanged a few words that revealed quite a bit of information.
Among the ten most elite players in the world, two had their eyes on this peculiar creature at the same time!
As the saying goes, when the clam and the snipe fight, it's the fisherman who benefits. Yun Zhi Yue raised an eyebrow and shifted from Yu Yue's lap to sit on the other side.
Her mood was quite good: "Earlier, Jiang explained about Gui Jing. Is anyone interested?"
Jiang raised an eyebrow: "Would the guide really open Gui Jing?"
Yun Zhi Yue pondered for a moment before explaining: "Our team's strength is sufficient, so why not? The reason Eerie Guides are so rare isn't what you might think; opening Gui Jing isn't actually that difficult.
However, many eerie beings hesitate to take on this role because once they enter Gui Jing, they face the same risks as players; one wrong move could lead to death. No one wants to take that chance."
"What exactly is worth risking for?" Yu Yue retracted her silver chain and looked at Song Huai with a smile.
