Wong Ji A furious roar came from behind them: "Over here, over here! Those two despicable women are running this way!" 0

Lian Rong Panting heavily, angrily muttered: "Damn it! That despicable guy! Why did he suddenly betray us?" 0

Xiao Yun said nothing, but her heart was filled with the same confusion and pain. She knew that now was not the time to discuss these things. They had to escape, or they would be caught, or even killed. She tightly held Lian Rong's hand and continued to run forward, catching a glimpse of the torchlight behind them from the corner of her eye. The soldiers were catching up. 0

"Hurry, we can't stop!" Xiao Yun urged in a low voice, filled with determination and fear. 0

Two people were desperately running in the jungle, and the fallen leaves and branches under their feet kept making rustling sounds, adding tension and pressure to each step. Xiao Yun's heart was pounding like a drum, and countless thoughts flashed through her mind, but she knew that the only goal now was to survive. 0

"There's a stream ahead," Xiao Yun suddenly remembered and said in a low voice, "we can use the stream to cover our tracks and try to shake them off." 0

Lian Rong nodded, a glimmer of hope in her eyes: "Okay, let's give it a try." 0

They quickly turned and ran towards the direction of the stream. The light of the torches behind them was still approaching, but they knew that as long as they could use the flow of the stream to cover their tracks, they had a chance to shake off their pursuers. 0

Finally, they saw the stream. The water shimmered in the moonlight, clear and transparent. Xiao Yun and Lian Rong quickly jumped into the stream, swiftly moving along without making a sound. The cold water sent shivers down their spines, but it also sharpened their minds. 0

"We can't let them discover our whereabouts," Xiao Yun whispered. "We must be careful." 0

Lian Rong nodded and followed Xiao Yun closely, stepping lightly and cautiously. 0

The soldiers behind them arrived at the stream, their torchlight flickering in the water. They looked around, trying to find the traces of Xiao Yun and Lian Rong. Wong Ji looked at the stream, then at the small path on the other side, immediately seeing through the two's plan to use the stream to cover their tracks. 0

"They are on the other side of the stream! Hurry and chase them!" Wong Ji shouted loudly, his voice filled with anger and triumph. 0

Xiao Yun and Lian Rong, upon hearing the shout, were startled and had no choice but to continue running. They ran desperately along the path, with the shouts and footsteps of their pursuers echoing in their ears. They knew that their only option now was to shake off their pursuers as quickly as possible. 0

After running for a distance, a fork suddenly appeared in the path. Xiao Yun quickly assessed the situation and said to Lian Rong, "Let's split up and escape! That way they won't catch both of us at the same time." 0

Lian Rong looked nervously at Xiao Yun, her eyes filled with unease and worry. "Xiao Yun, if we split up like this, what if..." 0

Xiao Yun interrupted her and said firmly, "There's no time to hesitate. This is the only way. You run to the left, I'll run to the right. We must survive and find the Red Flame Army!" 0

Lian Rong took a deep breath and nodded, "Okay, you be careful too." 0

They shook hands and quickly parted, running in different directions. Xiao Yun chose the path to the right, filled with determination and hope. She knew that this mission was crucial and had to succeed no matter what. 0

The pursuers behind them split into two teams and chased after them along the two paths. Xiao Yun's heart was pounding, but she tried to stay calm and focused on the path ahead. She knew that she had to stay alive in order to continue the fight. 0

The path gradually became narrow and rugged, with the surrounding trees growing denser. Xiao Yun tried to shake off her pursuers by taking advantage of the cover of the trees. Her breathing was rapid, her legs almost numb, but she didn't stop. She only had one belief in her heart—survive and expose the truth. 0

Suddenly, a small cave appeared ahead, hidden among the dense vines and branches. Xiao Yun quickly slipped into the cave, hiding inside, holding her breath, listening to the sounds outside. 0

Xiao Yun hid in the cave, gripping her fists tightly, her heart pounding. Too much had happened tonight. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. The resistance organization had been betrayed and wiped out by Wong Ji, and her own hidden identity had been discovered. Everything had become more complicated and dangerous. 0

She was filled with worry for her Foster parents, not knowing their situation or if they were safe. But at this moment, there was no use in being anxious. The pursuers outside were carefully searching near the cave, and any carelessness would lead to her discovery. 0

Xiao Yun Close your eyes and recall the faces of Foster parents, feeling a wave of sadness in her heart. They treated her like their own flesh and blood, giving her endless love and support. Now she is unable to protect them, which fills her with immense pain and self-blame. 0

However, she knows that she must remain calm. She silently tells herself that she must first escape the immediate danger, find the Red Flame Army, and then have a chance to rescue Foster parents and rebuild the resistance organization. 0

Outside the cave, the footsteps and conversations of the soldiers were clearly audible. They were searching everywhere, trying to find her trail. Xiao Yun's breathing became rapid, and she struggled to control herself, not making any sound. But all she could hear were the footsteps of the pursuers and the noisy sounds. She told herself she had to stay calm, but fear still lingered like a shadow. 0

In this cramped cave, Xiao Yun felt the darkness and oppression all around her, and involuntarily took a step back, seeking more security. Unexpectedly, her foot accidentally stepped on a dry twig, making a slight "crack" sound. 0

The sound was particularly harsh in the silent cave, and Xiao Yun's heart sank, knowing that she might have been exposed. She quickly held her breath, tensed her body, and stared at the movement outside the cave entrance. 0

"There's a sound over there!" a soldier's voice suddenly sounded, followed by several footsteps rapidly approaching the direction of the cave. 0

Xiao Yun felt a strong sense of fear and despair. She knew she had to make a decision, or else she would be caught. She tightened her grip, ready to face any possible attack. 0

The footsteps of the soldiers grew closer, and the light from the torches shone through the opening. Xiao Yun could see the shadows of the soldiers outside the hole, as they looked around, trying to find the source of the sound. 0

"I clearly heard a sound just now," a soldier said, frowning and looking around. 0
"Search carefully again, don't miss any corner," another soldier ordered, with a cold gleam in his eyes. 0

Xiao Yun Her heart raced, and her palms were sweaty, but she tried to calm herself down. She knew she couldn't panic now and had to find the right moment to escape. 0
