Yao Guang had been feeling anxious for several days, but fortunately, Yan Fei had gone out to handle some matters, giving her a bit of breathing room.

Without a word, he raised the blade and aimed it at her shoulder, delivering a vicious stab.
Blood instantly soaked her clothes as searing pain surged through her like a tidal wave.
She wanted to scream for help, to escape with all her might, but it felt as if she had been struck by a paralysis spell; she couldn't move at all.
Despair filled her heart as she thought this time would surely be the end. After suffering for hundreds of years on behalf of matchmaker, she never expected to meet her demise in such a strange and eerie place today.
Slowly, she closed her eyes and waited quietly for death. For some reason, the image of Yan Fei suddenly flashed through her mind.
If that man, like demon, were here, perhaps he could save her life.
Perhaps, perhaps... Damn it! Where on earth has he gone?
"I'm here now, aren't I?" It was as if he had truly sensed her plea for help; Yan Fei's voice suddenly rang in her ears. Immediately, she felt her body relax, and her hands and feet finally regained their flexibility.
The masked man was sent flying by a powerful kick from Yan Fei, like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily to the ground before desperately scrambling to escape.
Yan Fei had no intention of letting him go easily. In an instant, he seemed to cast some magical Spell, intercepting the masked man and lifting his leg again to kick him away with great force.
The crisp sound echoed, and it seemed several bones of the masked man had surely been broken.
Then Yan Fei quickly returned to Yao Guang, just in time to catch her as she slumped down.
With a gentle flick of his sleeve, a flash of blade light appeared, and the dagger shot out like lightning, pinning the masked man firmly against a tree.
The masked man let out a wretched scream that gradually transformed into a wisp of blue smoke, disappearing without a trace.
On the ground, only a piece of jade strung on the Heart Knot remained.
The highlight was indeed the Heart Knot!
