The Valley Master struck the ground with his staff, forming a circle. 0
"Come in!" 0
I hurriedly ran inside. 0
The trees and my father were left outside. 0
The Valley Master held his staff and began to chant a spell. 0
With each line he recited, he struck the ground with his staff. 0
I felt at ease and lay down, and the Valley Master supported me slightly. "How are you?" 0
"My father has awakened." 0
"He killed my mother." 0
The Valley Master stomped his foot in anger. "That wicked fiend! I should have never let him out." 0
"Keeping him locked away is what he deserves for his past actions!" 0
The Valley Master informed me that my father was known as the Heavenly Lacking Person. 0
The term Heavenly Lacking Person refers to those with a thin fate. 0
However, since my father was cruel and ruthless, she could only imprison him. 0
Unexpectedly, my mother devised a method for prolonging life using a Person of Heavenly Shadow. 0
Not long ago, my Sister died under mysterious circumstances. 0
They then turned their attention to the trees. 0
They intended to use the Tree Spirit to nourish the trees. 0
The Valley Master took out a gourd and handed it to me; it looked quite fresh, as if it had just been picked. 0
Holding the gourd, I was unsure of its purpose. "What is this gourd for?" 0
"It has great significance," the Valley Master said solemnly. 0

"What should we do next?" I asked, feeling confused. 0

The Valley Master looked at me. "Go back." 0

"Go back?" 0

I shook my head; I didn't want to return. I just wanted to run. The farther away, the better. 0

"You can't escape." 0

The Valley Master gazed into the distance. "Your father will definitely find you and turn you into your Sister." 0

"You and Zhou Xin are both Persons of Heavenly Shadow. With you two, your father will become so powerful that even I won't be able to resist him." 0

"Right now, he is still missing a catalyst." 0

The Valley Master looked at me. "And that catalyst is you." 0

"Me?" 0

I pointed at myself, my face filled with disbelief. How did I become the catalyst? 0

"That's right." 0

The Valley Master continued, "You and your Sister are both Ultimate Yin beings, but you are still young. Your father wants to wait until you grow a bit more before he makes his move." 0

"But your Sister's death has given him an opportunity." 0

"Using your Sister's body to nourish a tree, the nutrients from the tree will feed him, making him incredibly powerful." 0

I felt helpless; I couldn't withstand even one of his attacks. Was I supposed to go back and die? 0

The Valley Master sighed. "I still have some True Qi left; he can't kill me." 0

"But you need to be careful!" 0

I remained silent, my mood heavy as I walked toward the valley. 0

"Take this." 0

The Valley Master handed me a gourd along with several Spirit Talismans. "In a critical moment, they can save your life." 0

"Thank you, Valley Master." 0
I returned to the valley holding the gourd and the Spirit Talisman given to me by the Valley Master. 0
Father was already back. 0
He was waiting for me inside the valley. 0
The black spots on his skin had faded, and his complexion began to glow. 0
"You finally made it," he said with a cheerful smile. "I thought you wouldn't come back." 0
"You knew I was coming back?" 0
I tightened my grip on the stack of Spirit Talisman in my hand, watching him warily. 0
Father glanced at what I was holding, a look of disdain on his face. "Do you think that just because the Valley Master gave you those things, you can defeat me?" 0
"You brought the Valley Master here; you're just seeking your own death." 0
"If it weren't for her, you and your mother would have been dead long ago," I shot back, glaring at him. 0
The smile on Father's face vanished instantly, replaced by a fierce expression. "She shouldn't have interfered in this matter." 0
"I will kill you to avenge Sister." 0
I hurled the Spirit Talisman at him. 0
Father shook the bell, and all the vines attacked me. 0
I threw the Spirit Talisman, and the branches that were hit shattered into pieces. 0
But there were simply too many trees; my Spirit Talisman was already halfway gone, and the vines kept surging forward relentlessly. 0
