Hui Kong looked at the blazing flames, a relieved smile spreading across his face. "The matters here have been resolved, and it's time for me to leave." 0

uncle Zhang hurriedly asked, " Master Hui Kong, what about our poison…" 0

Hui Kong waved his hand dismissively. "It's nothing to worry about; I've already neutralized it. From now on, you can live your lives in peace." 0

Upon hearing this, the villagers erupted in cheers. Hui Kong said nothing more and turned to walk out of the village. Watching his retreating figure, I felt an inexplicable sense of reluctance. 0

Just then, Hui Kong suddenly turned around and beckoned me over. "Come here; I have something to tell you." 0

I was momentarily taken aback but quickly made my way to him. Hui Kong pulled me aside and whispered, "That talisman you have is not a good thing. I advise you to burn it." 0

"Otherwise, one day it will bring you harm." 0

As he spoke, he took out a black pill from his pocket and handed it to me. "This pill will help you regain the lost yang energy." 0

"Burn that talisman first thing tomorrow morning, then take this pill." 0

I accepted the pill and curiously asked, "How do you know that talisman isn't a good thing?" 0

Hui Kong smiled slightly. "That thing wants to use your body to return to life. It's not hard to see." 0

"I've already set up a formation in your room; I'll come for you at midnight tomorrow." 0

"When the time comes, just follow me." 0

I understood then that Hui Kong wanted to wait until tomorrow because he intended to sever the village's connection to the poison, including those who raised the poisonous creatures. After all, one must eliminate the roots when cutting down weeds. 0

I looked at him, hesitated for a moment, and said, "I have a request." 0
Hui Kong was taken aback, seemingly not expecting me to make a request. 0
"You can say it." 0
I took a deep breath. "I want you to teach me how to kill Aunt Wang." 0
"Because if I don't kill Aunt Wang, I won't be able to leave with you." 0
Hui Kong frowned. "Who is Aunt Wang?" 0
I explained, "She is the shaman of our village, and she is the one who gave me the talismans." 0
"She told me not to trust anyone, but she also gave me talismans, which makes me feel like she is protecting me." 0
"But I don't understand why she would do that, so I need to ask her." 0
"But after I ask her, I have to kill her; otherwise, I won't be able to leave." 0
Hui Kong looked at me with a strange expression. "Are you sure?" 0
I nodded. "I'm sure." 0
Hui Kong was silent for a moment before pulling out a Bloodthirsty Blade from his waist and handing it to me. 0
"This is called the Bloodthirsty Blade; it's specifically designed to deal with Cultivation practitioners." 0
"Take it. Once the village's karma is resolved, I'll come to get you." 0
I accepted the Bloodthirsty Blade, feeling a surge of gratitude. 0
"Thank you. Once the karma here is settled, you must come for me." 0
Hui Kong smiled with satisfaction. "Don't worry; I will definitely come for you." 0
When I returned home, I found Mother sitting in my room. 0
On the table was a bowl of Dark Green Soup. 0
Seeing me come back, Mother was very happy. 0
"I made soup for you; you must be hungry." 0
"Drink it while it's hot." 0
I let out a cold laugh and directly exposed Mother's secret about raising mermaids. 0
"Mermaid Curse, one in ten thousand; it must be a woman." 0
"Am I right?" 0

Upon hearing this, Mother’s expression changed instantly, turning into one of panic. 0

I stepped closer to her, asking, “Do you know who the fish people are?” 0

Mother’s face turned pale as she took a few steps back. 0

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she stammered. 0

I let out a derisive laugh. “It doesn’t matter if you don’t know; I can tell you.” 0

“You’re not Mother; you’re just someone who raises fish people.” 0

“You’ve been nice to me only because you want my life.” 0

Seeing that her facade had crumbled, Mother no longer pretended. She shouted at me with a twisted face, “Since you know everything, then drink that bowl of soup!” 0

“If you drink it, I’ll spare your life.” 0

I scoffed and kicked her to the ground. 0

Then I pulled out the Bloodthirsty Blade that Hui Kong had given me. 0

When Mother saw the Bloodthirsty Blade, she was instantly terrified. 0

“Bloodthirsty Blade! How do you have something like that?” 0

I looked at her expressionlessly and asked, “What do you think?” 0

Mother wanted to struggle, but upon seeing the Bloodthirsty Blade, she completely wilted. 0

I stared at her and said flatly, “Don’t worry; I won’t kill you.” 0

“But my sister might.” 0

With that, I pushed open the window, and Mother immediately spotted my sister searching for her outside. 0

I shoved Mother out of the room and closed the door behind her. 0

The rest was up to my sister. 0
