At the beginning of the new year, just as school was starting again, Zhu Hui received a letter. It was from Liu Xi, who wrote that after being expelled from school, he had gone to Shenzhen. There, he found a job that he was quite satisfied with. Just last week, he received his first month's salary since starting work there. Although the amount wasn't much, he felt content and at peace, as it was the result of his own hard work. In the letter, he also mentioned how his past ignorance had caused great harm to many people around him, which left him feeling guilty. He sincerely hoped that those he had hurt could give him a chance to make amends for his past mistakes. At the end of the letter, instead of apologizing to Zhu Hui, he thanked her for helping him understand the importance of "responsibility" in a person's life, teaching him how to be an upright and honorable person who could bring happiness and joy to others. 0

Zhu Hui felt her eyes welling up with tears as she read this. She set down the letter and silently wished Liu Xi all the best in Shenzhen, hoping that his life would be filled with hope like his name suggested, with a bright future ahead that could bring true happiness and hope to his mother. 0

“Class monitor, what are you doing here?” Dong Xiwen suddenly appeared behind her, startling her. 0

“Dong Xiwen, look! This is a letter from Liu Xi!” Zhu Hui happily showed the letter to Dong Xiwen. After reading it carefully, Dong Xiwen sighed deeply and said, “You can't see a rainbow without going through some storms; this must be part of the growth process!” 0

Zhu Hui nodded with a smile but then suddenly asked, “Did you come to find me for something?” 0

Dong Xiwen's face changed dramatically at her reminder, and she exclaimed in frustration, “I can't believe I forgot such an important thing!” 0

“What important thing?” Zhu Hui felt uneasy seeing her so anxious. 0

“It’s about Liao Chengwei! He got into a fight with Yin Jun over something trivial, and now they’re really going at it!” Dong Xiwen hurriedly explained. 0

“What? Liao Chengwei is fighting again?” 0

“Yes! No one can stop them right now. You need to hurry back to the classroom and check it out; otherwise, someone might get seriously hurt!” 0

“That damn Liao Chengwei is always causing trouble! This time I’m going to teach him a good lesson,” Zhu Hui said angrily as she and Dong Xiwen rushed back to the classroom. 0

When they returned, they found the classroom in complete disarray, looking as if it had been ravaged. Desks and chairs were scattered like displaced refugees on the floor, and the sound of chaos filled the air as classmates huddled together shouting as if trying to mediate. Zhu Hui saw that Liao Chengwei and Yin Jun were indeed locked in a fierce fight. Furious, she pushed through the crowd to pull them apart. As she got closer, she noticed both of their faces were bruised and bleeding. 0

“What are you two doing fighting?” Zhu Hui shouted as she separated them. 0

“Ask him!” they both replied in unison. 0

“Liao Chengwei, you go first. What on earth is happening here?” 0

Seeing her question, Liao Chengwei pointed at Yin Jun, indignantly saying, “This guy likes you and wants to marry you.” 0

Upon hearing this, Zhu Hui's face immediately turned red. She then turned to Yin Jun and asked the same question. 0

Yin Jun, noticing her inquiry, pointed back at Liao Chengwei and replied fiercely, “This guy also likes you and wants to marry you.” 0

Zhu Hui quickly realized that the two of them were playing tricks on her, deliberately teasing her. Angered, she pushed them away and stomped her foot in frustration, asking, “What are you two up to?” 0

“We are…” They exchanged glances with the people around them, who immediately understood and reacted by pulling out pre-prepared confetti tubes from behind their backs and shooting colorful streamers at Zhu Hui while shouting in unison, “Happy birthday!” 0

Hearing their cheerful wishes made Zhu Hui suddenly remember that today was indeed her birthday. 0

“You… you…” Zhu Hui looked at everything before her in disbelief, pointing at the ketchup smeared on Liao Chengwei’s head in confusion. 0

“Ah! To celebrate your birthday, we sacrificed the most by covering our heads with so much ketchup,” Liao Chengwei said, extending a finger to dab some of the ketchup from his head and licking it off with a grin. 0

Zhu Hui watched as the two of them fought, realizing it was just a prank, and burst into laughter. Frowning, she complained, "You two are really ridiculous for pulling such a joke. You made me worry for nothing." 0

The two exchanged glances and smiled without responding. At that moment, a girl suddenly pulled her aside, pointing at a large object covered with red cloth. "Class monitor, this is the birthday gift we all prepared for you!" 0

"Really? It's so big!" Zhu Hui exclaimed, running over to unveil the mysterious gift. As she pulled back the red cloth, she discovered it was a pink bicycle. The bike was slightly larger than a child's bike, probably a size 0, with a uniquely cute design. 0

"Wow! What a beautiful bicycle! Is this really for me?" Zhu Hui asked anxiously, fearing that everything before her was just an illusion. She clasped her hands together in disbelief, her eyes sparkling with tears. "You all suddenly being so nice to me means I'm either dreaming or you've all had a change of heart." 0

As soon as she said this, the atmosphere behind her turned dark. Everyone's expressions shifted ominously at her words, their faces resembling storm clouds pressing down heavily on Zhu Hui. 0

"Just... just kidding, don't take it seriously," Zhu Hui stammered as she noticed their fiery glares. She shrank back in fear and awkwardly laughed, "I was worried I might be dreaming again, so my comment was understandable, right?" 0

"How could there be that many dreams? This is real! We've all had a change of heart. If you don't believe me, let me pinch you and see if it hurts," the girl said mischievously as she stepped forward and lightly pinched Zhu Hui's cheek, echoing her earlier provoking words. 0
