Meng Fei was supposed to emerge from the shadow of his insecurities and return to a normal life after the campus violence incident had settled down. However, it was unexpected that he and Liu Xi would disappear together, not showing up for classes, which left Zhu Hui, who had been worried about him, feeling quite distressed. 0

After school in the afternoon, Zhu Hui walked out of the teaching building with her backpack, feeling dejected. Suddenly, a basketball came flying toward her. Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t react in time and got hit squarely on the forehead. 0

“Hey! Are you out of your mind? You see a basketball coming at you and don’t even try to dodge it!” 0

Sitting on the ground, Zhu Hui felt a shadow loom over her, blocking all the light in front of her. She looked up and saw Yang Qianfan staring at her with a puzzled expression. 0

“Why did you throw a basketball at me? That really hurt!” Zhu Hui exclaimed, covering her forehead and shouting at him like a storm. 0

“You know it hurts? I thought you were possessed or something with that dazed look you had earlier!” Yang Qianfan shrugged and laughed dismissively. 0

“I don’t have time to argue with you.” Zhu Hui shot him a cold glance as she stood up and asked curtly, “What do you want?” 0

“It’s a small school; we see each other all the time. Running into you is just normal. Seriously, don’t flatter yourself thinking I came looking for you,” Yang Qianfan replied with a scoff, his expression full of disdain. 0

“Then that’s great. Now move aside! Don’t block my way,” Zhu Hui pushed past him. 0

“Hey, I’m heading to the Ocean Department Store.” 0

“What does that have to do with me?” Zhu Hui continued walking without even glancing back. 0

“Didn’t you notice we’re going the same way?” 0

“Same way?” Zhu Hui stopped in surprise and turned around, squinting at him. “You’re not suggesting you want to go home with me, are you?” 0

“Exactly! You’re so smart! Your intuition is impressive,” Yang Qianfan said with a grin as he clapped his hands together and eagerly ran to catch up with her. 0

“What an idiot,” Zhu Hui thought as she watched his silly demeanor and couldn’t help but smile. 0

As they reached the school gate, they spotted He Feng and Zhang Ming gathered around a sports car, arguing loudly. 0

“Hey! What are you guys doing here?” Yang Qianfan approached them and asked. 0

"He just bought this piece of junk, what is it called again? Windstorm? It should be renamed to Disease instead," He Feng said coldly, glancing at the sports car beside him with disdain. 0

"What did you say? If it weren't for you, you fatso, insisting on riding in my car, would mine have broken down?" Zhang Ming retorted angrily, grabbing He Feng by the neck and shaking him vigorously. 0

"Alright, you two stop arguing. I'm an expert in sports cars," Yang Qianfan interjected, eager to show off in front of Zhu Hui. 0

Zhu Hui was genuinely surprised to hear that he could fix sports cars and thought to himself, can even a rotten tree bloom in spring? 0

After a while, amidst a chorus of gasps, Zhang Ming's sports car miraculously came back to life, indeed repaired by Yang Qianfan. 0

"Wow... you really are amazing! I can't believe you fixed my car in such a short time!" Zhang Ming praised, his eyes sparkling with admiration. 0

"Yes... indeed! I never expected your skills to be this impressive. I truly bow down to you," He Feng chimed in, also eager to flatter. 0

Hearing their compliments, Zhu Hui shot a glance at Yang Qianfan and inwardly scoffed, "Hmph—fixed it in zero minutes? How can they call that a short time?" 0

"This is what we call 'there must be use in my existence.' You fools can't compare to me," Yang Qianfan boasted, puffing up with pride and forgetting that Zhu Hui was still there. 0

"Exactly, exactly—'there must be use in foolishness,'" Zhu Hui added mockingly from the side. 0

"What did you say?" Yang Qianfan snapped, his muscles tensing up with anger. 0

"Hmph—fixing a broken car took zero minutes; what else could you be but a fool?" 0

"You—" 0

"What about me? Go ask those two if they took zero minutes fixing this junk." 0

Yang Qianfan actually ran over to ask Zhang Ming and the others if they had spent zero minutes fixing the car. 0

"I... we were arguing for zero minutes," Zhang Ming replied sheepishly. 0

“Did you not fix the car at all before I arrived?” 0

“With all the arguing, who had the time to fix a car?” 0

Upon hearing this, Yang Qianfan felt as if a tsunami had struck him; the anger that had been building inside him erupted like a volcano, overwhelming him completely. 0

“You two… you idiots dared to play me.” Furious, Yang Qianfan kicked the sports car he had just repaired with all his might, sending parts flying until wheels, chains, and pedals lay scattered on the ground. Only then did his uncontrollable rage begin to subside. 0

“Ah—! My 700-dollar Gale Racer…” Zhang Ming stared at the heap of scrap metal before him, unable to connect it with his once brand-new Gale Racer. He opened his mouth wide and cried out in despair. 0

“I must be a junk car! After being kicked by the boss like this, I’ve turned into an art piece.” He Feng chimed in mockingly, pretending to ponder over the wreckage. “This should count as abstract art; it somewhat resembles a Gale Racer.” 0

“What do you mean it resembles a Gale Racer? This was my Gale Racer!” Zhang Ming shouted back at him in disbelief. 0

“Alright, let me help you take this art piece home. Looking at it will speed up your heart rate and improve your blood circulation,” He Feng said with a feigned seriousness, unable to suppress his laughter. 0

“Sigh—what a bunch of idiots,” Zhu Hui remarked as she watched them make a scene. 0

“Class monitor, something’s wrong—” At that moment, a timid voice rushed past Zhu Hui’s ear. She turned to see Dong Xiwen running towards her in a panic. 0

“What happened?” Zhu Hui asked anxiously. 0

“Meng… Meng Fei… he just came to school.” 0

“Really? He finally decided to come to school!” Zhu Hui interrupted excitedly before Dong Xiwen could finish, clasping her hands together in joy. 0

“He… he didn’t come to study; he… he…” 0

“What happened?” Seeing Dong Xiwen’s tense expression, Zhu Hui’s smile vanished instantly, and unease settled in her heart. 0

“He came to drop out.” Dong Xiwen lowered his head softly. 0

"You... what? He... he's here to drop out." Zhu Hui stared at her in shock, unable to believe her ears. 0

Seeing the bewildered expression on her face, Dong Xiwen hesitated for a moment before nodding. 0

Zhu Hui was speechless for a moment, lowering her head as if trying to gather her thoughts or suppress her anger. She asked heavily, "What about the principal?" 0

"The principal gave him three days to think it over, and he will give his final answer after that." 0

"Is that so!" Zhu Hui responded, clenching her fists. Suddenly, she took off running. 0

"Class monitor, where are you going?" 0

"I'm going to teach that ungrateful jerk a lesson," Zhu Hui shouted as she ran ahead. 0

"Hey! Wait... Zhu Hui, don't run so fast!" Yang Qianfan, seeing her furious demeanor, worried that she might cause more trouble and hurried to catch up with her. 0
