Listening intently, Tang Hui couldn't help but furrow his brows and tug at his chin, a look of confusion etched on his face as he muttered to himself, "Why do these two voices sound so familiar? It's as if I've heard them somewhere before." Suddenly, realization struck him, and he turned to Zhu Hui, exclaiming, "Hui, isn't that your voice? How could it be in this radio drama?" 0

At that moment, Zhu Hui froze like a film reel abruptly paused, her entire being stiffening like a fish just taken out of the freezer. She stood there, expressionless and motionless, as if the wind had dried her out. She never expected that group of miscreants would be so bored as to painstakingly record all the silly things she had said at Yang Qianfan's house last night and then cleverly splice them into a romantic radio drama for public broadcast at school. 0

Seeing her as if she had been struck by a spell, Tang Hui called her name repeatedly in an attempt to snap her out of it. After a long while, Zhu Hui finally stirred, but her movements were slow and rusty. She turned her head toward Tang Hui, about to say something when suddenly her mind went blank with a loud "bang," and then a rush of warmth surged from her nostrils. Tang Hui was alarmed and shouted, "Hui, you're bleeding!" No sooner had he spoken than Zhu Hui collapsed to the ground. 0

"Hui, Hui..." Tang Hui panicked and carried her on his back as he rushed to the hospital. The doctor took her temperature and found it was 41.5 degrees Celsius; Zhu Hui was running a high fever and needed to be hospitalized for observation. Upon hearing the news, Zhu Grandma hurried to the hospital. Seeing Zhu Hui lying on the bed receiving an IV drip made her furious. She turned around and unleashed a torrent of curses at Tang Hui without holding back, hurling all sorts of nonsensical accusations. 0

"You ungrateful brat! I treated you so well, taking care of you like you were my future grandson-in-law! I was even planning to marry off our Hui to your family when you both grew up! And look at what you've done now—bullying our Hui until she's in this state! Are you doing this on purpose?" 0

"I didn't bully her..." 0

"Don't play innocent with me! I noticed something was off with her yesterday. She came home not eating or bathing, looking completely lost. She's been hanging around with you; who else could have broken her heart?" Zhu Grandma pointed an accusing finger at him, giving him no chance to explain. 0

Tang Hui stood there dumbfounded by her tirade. He wanted to defend himself but realized she wouldn't allow him any opportunity for explanation. With no choice left, he lowered his head in silence. Just then, a pretty nurse approached respectfully and handed Zhu Grandma a bill for the medication, asking her to settle it. Upon seeing the amount of 68 yuan on the bill, Zhu Grandma's eyebrows shot up in anger, knitting together into a straight line across her forehead. She then turned on the nurse with a barrage of furious complaints about how hospitals had become money-grabbing schemes akin to funeral homes. She accused the doctors of being too fat and the nurses too pretty, claiming there must be some shady dealings going on—surely they were profiting from the 68 yuan bill while living lavishly off the money they extorted from patients like her. 0
