At noon, Tang Hui rushed to her classroom to invite her to lunch at the cafeteria. However, she found the cafeteria too crowded and the air quality poor, which would spoil her appetite. So, she asked Tang Hui to bring her a boxed meal instead, and she decided to eat in the classroom. Seeing that she didn’t want to go, Tang Hui felt disappointed but didn’t insist further and went alone.
Not long after, Tang Hui returned with a boxed meal, hurrying back as if he had something urgent to say. As soon as he set the meal down, he excitedly questioned her, “Did you go to Yang Qianfan’s house yesterday?”

“Do I really need someone to tell me?” Tang Hui shook his head helplessly and sighed. “I heard a lot of rumors about you while I was eating in the cafeteria just now. They say you foolishly went to Yang Qianfan’s house yesterday and confessed your feelings for him, saying all sorts of cheesy things. But in the end, he rejected you right there because he already has someone he loves—Li Lingfei, the famous school beauty.”
Upon hearing this, Zhu Hui’s face turned pale with anger, and she trembled all over. She stood up and shouted at Tang Hui, “What? Who is spreading these rumors about me? I’ve never knelt before Yang Qianfan or confessed my feelings! I wish I could tear apart those who are slandering me behind my back!”

Even more bizarre were the lines that sounded eerily familiar:

“You... you... what? You... like me?” responded the female character.
“Yes... yes, I... I like you,” said the male character.
"Actually, I like you quite a bit," the girl said.

"Ever since we met on the back playground last time, I've developed a strange fondness for you. It's an unclear feeling, as if Cupid's arrow has suddenly pierced my heart, making my heart race and leaving me unable to forget. I think this feeling is probably what people call love at first sight!" she continued.

"I agree to be your girlfriend," she declared.

"You... you... you saw it too, right? This is all just a joke, a joke! You—surely you didn't take it seriously?" the boy stammered.
