Two Strong Women pushed me out like a livestock. My hands were bound, and I was led by a Female Mentor, who made me show them one by one.
Teeth, eyes, the month of production... every detail was laid bare without omission. I looked at the Mother Empress for help, but she was too busy toasting and drinking, completely ignoring me. I buried my head, trying to soothe the egg.

Everyone burst into laughter at the sight.

As soon as she finished speaking, a man stepped onto the stage.

Yu Lan frowned, “My son is about to Transform into a Dragon.”
“This egg might just be an empty shell,” the elder hesitated for a moment before bowing and leaving in a hurry. He seemed eager to seize the opportunity to align himself with those in power.
I was locked away in the cold palace, waiting for the day of my wedding. Clutching the egg in my hands, I felt uncertain about what the future held.
Suddenly, the door swung open. Bai Hong appeared, dragging the Second Princess along with him. They caught a whiff of the floral scent associated with childbirth and stared intently at my egg.
Encouraged by Bai Hong, the Second Princess reached out to snatch it away.
“Let Bai Hong enjoy it; it would be a blessing for the Grand Princess,” she said.
I suddenly remembered Bai Hong's disturbing habit of consuming young eggs and hatchlings. I had previously tried to correct him, and he had sworn he would never do it again. Yet here was the Second Princess aiding and abetting his misdeeds.
I didn't know where my strength came from, but I pushed the Second Princess aside and bolted for the door. Just as I exited the cold palace, I ran straight into Yu Lan's Heavenly Thunder Array set up outside.
A triumphant voice rang out, "Hand over the Black Egg, and I will leave your corpse intact."
"Otherwise, the Heavenly Thunder Array will leave you with nothing but bones."
Bai Hong was clamoring beside me, "Mother, I want to enjoy the egg! I want to enjoy the egg!"
"Give it to me quickly!"
His desire grew stronger.
Yu Lan urged, "Then go and snatch it quickly!"
Bai Hong lunged at me, and I held onto the egg tightly.
In the struggle, we fell into the Heavenly Thunder Array.
The formation was already activated.
The force of thunder struck towards my egg.
I threw myself over the egg and coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Suddenly, a beam of golden light broke through the thunderstorm.
The lightning trembled under the illumination of the golden light.
A group of people surrounded me protectively.
They shouted in unison, "Li Clan Head commands that the Human Princess be taken as a consort."
Then, I lost consciousness.
When I woke up, my first thought was of my egg.
I hurriedly reached out to touch it.
"The Little Prince is safe."
The egg was snugly resting in its little nest. I examined it closely; although there were some cracks in the shell, thankfully it did not affect what was inside.
A maid's voice came from nearby, "Princess, how are you?"
