No matter how much I shouted in the Sea of Consciousness, he remained indifferent, fully focused on cultivating the Magic Technique. 0

Finally, after absorbing the last drop of blood in the Blood Pool, he slowly opened his eyes, and his red pupils blinked, transforming back to their normal color. 0

He stepped out of the Blood Pool, got dressed, and said to Mo Cang, who was waiting outside, "I need to go out for a bit. Everything else will proceed as planned. Start the counterattack when you receive my signal." 0

Mo Cang asked, "Are you planning to go up?" 0

He nodded and replied, "Yes! I want to take a look around; it’s been too long since I’ve seen the outside world, and I can hardly wait. Besides, with this new body, I need to collect some interest from those folks at the Special Investigation Bureau." 0

I had initially wanted to hear more about their plans, but then there was no further information. However, my worries came true; he indeed intended to use my body for something. 0

I felt like an ant on a hot pan in the Sea of Consciousness, but there was nothing I could do. 0

I forced myself to calm down; somehow, I had to find a way to inform them that the person before them was no longer me but the leader of the Evil Spirit Cult. 0

After crawling out of the passage, he headed towards the former Pig Farm, which had been temporarily set up as a command center. The people from the Special Investigation Bureau were there, including my master and Feng Daoist, along with other Jianghu People. 0

Their purpose was to put an end to the Evil Spirit Cult. Before he could get close to the Pig Farm, someone shouted, "Who goes there? What are you doing here?" 0

He raised his hands and smiled, "It's me, Ling Feng!" 0

A few people emerged from the shadows, and one of them asked, "Are you the Ling Feng mentioned by An Old Man?" 0

He nodded and said, "Is there another Ling Feng in An Old Man's words?" 0

I couldn't help but notice that his expressions and gestures were exactly like mine. I was anxious and pacing around but still couldn't think of a way to notify them. 0

He easily entered the Pig Farm. Before he even reached the front door, Liu Er ran over crying and hugged him tightly. " Ling Feng! You’re finally back! You scared me to death; if anything happened to you, I would feel guilty for a lifetime." 0

He turned around and hugged Liu Er, saying, "Silly girl, don’t you know who Ling Feng is? Those cats and dogs from the Evil Spirit Cult are no match for me." 0

Liu Er wiped her nose and pouted, "You just like to brag." 0

Behind him were Jian Jie, Solemn, Ruo Yu, Ruo Zhuo, Master, an Old Man, Wu Lao, Feng Daoist... 0

They all came out to greet him. The sight made my nose tingle and my eyes burn with tears. If I were still myself at that moment, I would have rushed over to give each of them a hug. 0

He first called out to Master, and the way he addressed the others was the same as I did. Suddenly, it hit me that I could see everything happening outside now. 0

So when he was trapped in the barrier back then, could he also see everything about me? 0

Finally, he walked over to Jian Jie and hugged her tightly. Jian Jie seemed taken aback; her eyes widened in surprise as she forgot to resist. Yet at that moment, I felt a pang of jealousy. 0

Although it was my body embracing Jian Jie, the person inside was not me. I thought to myself, is this a competition between myself and myself? 0

He boldly declared in front of everyone, "Jian Jie, I like you!" 0

Everyone around was stunned into silence before bursting into cheers. Jian Jie pushed him away and said, "Want to pursue me? That’s not an easy task. Let’s see how you perform!" With that, she turned gracefully and walked away. 0

What surprised me was that Ruo Yu had actually brought Fo Zhang and Xuan along; perhaps it was different for animals. Fo Zhang lay on Ruo Yu's shoulder, glanced at him, then settled back down with drooping eyelids. 0

Ruo Yu patted Fo Zhang's head and said, "Your master is back; why are you still lounging on me?" 0

He smiled as he tried to tease Fo Zhang. To his surprise, Fo Zhang bared his teeth at him and swiped at him with a paw. Several scratches appeared on Ruo Yu's hand as he stepped back in annoyance and explained, "You little rascal! Have you developed a temper because I left you at home?" 0

Fo Zhang ignored him completely. I couldn’t help but shout out loud; Fo Zhang was truly impressive—no wonder I cared for him the most. 0

Indeed, animals are more perceptive than humans. With the same appearance and language, only the essence had changed. Everyone else failed to recognize it, but Fo Zhang sensed it immediately. 0

The Master looked puzzled and said, “Fo Zhang is just like you, very close to you. It has never treated you this way; who knows how you’ve mistreated it!” 0

He then gently patted Fo Zhang’s head to comfort it, smiling as he added, “I care for it so much that I even break a piece of cake in half to share with it. How could I bear to mistreat it?” 0

The Master only smiled and didn’t say anything further. I had initially felt elated, thinking the Master had noticed something was off. After all, he understood my situation better than anyone else. There’s something residing within me that others don’t know about; how could he not be aware? The fact that he hadn’t noticed left me feeling utterly helpless. 0

He watched Jian Jie leave, his eyes filled with possessiveness, and to my surprise, my body reacted. I felt an overwhelming urge to kill him! 0

Solemn walked over and said, “Ling Feng, aren’t you the one who treasures your hair the most? You’ve worked so hard to grow it out. How did you end up shaving it all off?” 0

He touched his bald head and replied, “I did it because I wanted to! Why do you care?” 0

Solemn giggled and ran off, saying, “I won’t interfere; your wife will take care of you!” 0

An Old Man also patted my shoulder, saying, “It’s good that you’re back! Just good that you’re back!” 0

He nodded at An Old Man. 0

Wasn’t there some bad blood between An Old Man and the Master? Although they stood far apart and didn’t speak, their eyes met briefly before quickly looking away. Yet they seemed to coexist peacefully. 0

At that moment, Feng Daoist approached again. “Ling Feng, how did you escape? Tell your old brother!” 0

He laughed and said, “Actually, it wasn’t anything special. The Evil Spirit Cult members were just too foolish. I found an opening and jumped out of the car, then hid away. I had to be very cautious all the way back here.” 0

Feng Daoist exclaimed, “Impressive!” and gave me a thumbs up. 0

He had indeed returned from the brink of death. It was a rare occasion worth celebrating. That evening, the kitchen prepared several tables of dishes laid out in the courtyard—Zhuangxing Wine—to toast for the upcoming battle and to celebrate my safe return. 0

I noticed him earlier in the afternoon by the well, placing something inside it. I wanted to warn everyone about it, but no one could hear me. 0

During dinner, a rare good atmosphere enveloped the room as everyone enjoyed their drinks. Only Fo Zhang curled up in a corner, fast asleep. 0

He also had a fondness for alcohol, raising his glass to toast each person and challenging Solemn and the others to drinking contests. 0

The feast continued into the early hours of the morning, and it wasn't until everyone was nearly passed out from intoxication that he finally lifted his head from the table with a smile. 0

Then he signaled directly. I knew something was wrong; he was about to let Mo Cang launch an attack. I looked at the people who had fallen asleep around me. Whether they were from the Evil Spirit Cult or just ordinary folks, none of them would be able to escape. 0

Despair washed over me instantly. All these people were my family and friends! 0

How could I bear to watch them meet a tragic end? 0
