Chapter 304: Embraced in Darkness 0

In a daze, Lu Fei Fan felt as if he were trapped in a long dream. 0

In this dream, a knight clad in black armor slowly approached him. The pieces of the Black Armor fell to the ground one by one, as if they were living beings. By the time the knight stood before Lu Fei Fan, only a Greatsword remained in her hand. 0

Clang. 0

The heavy Greatsword dropped to the ground, but that did not hinder their gaze from locking onto each other, devoid of any words. 0

Yet Lu Fei Fan could clearly see her face—a flawless visage of unparalleled beauty. Perhaps it was due to the dream, but he couldn't recall her exact features; he only knew she was so stunning that he couldn't tear his eyes away. 0

Without any warning or passionate words, only deep gazes exchanged, the next moment, they kissed as if a volcano had erupted. 0

In the darkness, heavy breaths echoed occasionally as their souls intertwined and collided. 0

Lu Fei Fan felt this was a sweet and blissful dream. The soft, cool lips of the woman ignited a storm of emotions within him. He embraced her delicate figure, her unique fragrance lingering in his nostrils. He wished this beautiful dream could last a little longer. 0

Women are always the tender refuge for heroes. In her presence, Lu Fei Fan tasted sweetness and softness. He was tireless—sometimes gentle, sometimes wild. She transitioned from shy resistance to gradual acceptance, and again and again they came together, seemingly never satisfied or weary. 0

However, time is always merciless; no matter how long the dream lasts, it will eventually pull Lu Fei Fan from the tender world of their entanglement. 0

When he opened his eyes, he saw a pair of delicate feet as beautiful as lotus petals, glistening like jade against the ground. He instinctively looked up to find slender legs enveloped in a flowing white gown that radiated an ethereal glow. 0

"Fairy?" 0

Lu Fei Fan rubbed his eyes; it felt cool and refreshing. 0

Looking down, he realized he was completely naked. Where were his clothes? He attempted to get up, but as soon as he propped himself up, the sharp blade of a Greatsword pressed coldly against his neck. If the wielder applied even a little force, it could easily sever Lu Fei Fan's head. 0

"Give me a reason not to kill you," a voice as cold as frost rang out. 0

Countless excuses flashed through Lu Fei Fan's mind, but he was conscious of the things he had done in his dreams. Clearly, no amount of feeble words could justify them. 0

"There is none." Lu Fei Fan slowly closed his eyes. A man of honor would not lie or make excuses; he was not the type to evade responsibility just to survive. No matter what mistakes or responsibilities he faced, he would not shirk them, even in the face of death. 0

"Aren't you afraid of dying?" the other person suddenly asked. 0

"Yes," Lu Fei Fan answered honestly. "But if I make a mistake, I must bear the consequences." 0

"Good." The cold tone revealed no hint of praise as the question continued, "Is there anything left unsaid that you want to share?" 0

Lu Fei Fan thought of his father, bedridden at home, and his mother and younger brother. 0

He took out two Divine Court Sacred Fruits and placed them on the ground. "Please buy a Jinwu Holy Blood Pill for one of my family members." 0

With that, Lu Fei Fan closed his eyes and said nothing more. 0

A breeze swept through, lifting the flowing White Dress of the woman who held the Twilight Greatsword against Lu Fei Fan's neck. She had stunning features, but her expression was frosty. Even with her long black hair billowing in the darkness, half of her face obscured, she still emanated an aura of deadly intent. 0

Lu Fei Fan kept his eyes closed for a long time, fully prepared for death. Living a few more decades was already a gain for him. In his previous life, he had fought against Wei Chong Yi Shou in darkness and lost his life. Although there were some regrets in this life, nothing in this world was perfect; death was not truly frightening. 0

However, after a long moment, he still did not feel the blade move. A gentle breeze brushed past him. Lu Fei Fan opened his eyes to find that the Greatsword was gone and that the enchanting woman in the beautiful white dress had vanished as well. 0

On the ground lay a Divine Court Sacred Fruit, and the other party had taken one. 0

Lu Fei Fan strained to recall the other person's face, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember it clearly. The only thing that lingered in his mind was the pair of beautifully shaped feet, delicate and charming, like lotus petals. 0

Was it truly a farewell without a word? 0

For some reason, an overwhelming sense of loss surged within Lu Fei Fan. Perhaps they would never cross paths again in this lifetime. The fact that the other person had let him go was already a significant act of forgiveness; what more could he dare to wish for? 0

Sighing, Lu Fei Fan got up, dressed himself, and carefully stored the Divine Court Sacred Fruit away. He slung the Whale Devouring Sword back onto his back. 0

The Bulky and Obese Dungeon Lord remained on one side, and as for that Golden Explosive Sphere, Lu Fei Fan didn't need to think hard to know what it was. He wasn't sure whether to hate or thank this Colossal Creature. 0

Kicking it a few times, he found its scales to be incredibly hard. He decided to take out the Whale Devouring Sword again and sliced off several pieces from its body, placing them into his Nano Ring. Once he finished this task, Lu Fei Fan began searching for an exit. 0

In a daze, a breeze swept by, and Lu Fei Fan followed the direction of the wind. 0

After advancing several hundred meters, he finally looked up to see a faint light shining down. Channeling Pulse Energy through the Whale Devouring Sword in his hand, he infused it with White Energy, sending forth a sword shadow that shot upward toward the weak light. 0

Boom! 0

The ground shook violently as rocks crumbled down, revealing a gap blasted open by the White Sword Rainbow. Countless beams of light cascaded down from the opening. 0

Lu Fei Fan gathered his Pulse Energy and with a loud thud against the ground, surged toward the gap. 0

As he emerged into the open air, Bai Wu enveloped him; a cold wind swept across the steep hillside, causing numerous plants to rustle and howl in response. 0

Boom. 0

A rock exploded, and Lu Fei Fan's figure landed in the wilderness. She looked around, surrounded by desolate mountains and ridges. She had no idea where she was. Not far away, there was a tall forest filled with ancient trees. 0

Could she have gone that way? 0

A strange thought crossed Lu Fei Fan's mind. Behind her lay the cold Abyss of the Cliff, and Bai Wu blocked everything, making her feel an inexplicable sense of danger lurking in that direction. 0

Sigh. 0

Lu Fei Fan sighed and finally chose to head toward the tall forest, hoping for a stroke of luck. 0

What she didn't know was that on a protruding rock of a mountain peak next to the Abyss of the Cliff, a white figure stood in the biting cold wind, her white dress and black hair fluttering. Leaning on a greatsword, she gazed into the misty distance, as if looking at something or perhaps nothing at all. After a moment, she lifted her sword and turned back toward the White Mist Sea, leaping into the abyss. That figure bounced back and forth, disappearing without a trace in an instant. 0

As Lu Fei Fan advanced toward the tall forest, she soon heard gunshots. Her figure vanished into the trees like a leopard in the wild. In the center of the forest, Lu Fei Fan discovered a Metal Tower entwined with countless Vine Plants, blending seamlessly with the woods. 0

If it weren't for the blasted Tower Gate and the corpses scattered around, Lu Fei Fan might not have noticed this hidden tower within the forest. 0

After observing for a while, two Mercenaries emerged from the Tower Gate. Lu Fei Fan stealthily approached; these two seemed to be on lookout duty. 0

"What bad luck! We actually have to stand guard out here," one complained. 0

"Come on, who knows what dangers lurk below?" the other tried to reassure his comrade. 0

Lu Fei Fan moved silently behind them. Both Mercenaries were seasoned veterans of the battlefield and suddenly reached for their sidearms. But before they could draw their weapons, a sword was swiftly pressed against both of them. 0

“Move and you’ll lose your life immediately,” Lu Fei Fan said coldly. 0

The two men felt Lu Fei Fan approaching them silently, clearly not an ordinary person; he was undoubtedly a Pulse Energy Practitioner. Even though both of them were close to the General level, his weapon could easily take their lives. 0

“What’s down there?” Lu Fei Fan asked. 0

“I don’t know,” one of them replied. 0

“Is that so?” Lu Fei Fan didn’t believe him and pressed the Whale Devouring Sword slightly harder. 0

“Don’t do anything; we—” one of the mercenaries started to say. 0

“Quickly,” Lu Fei Fan said impatiently. 0

“We don’t know what’s down there either. We were just following our leader when we stumbled upon this Iron Tower, so we decided to attack. We lost several men already, but we really don’t know what’s inside,” the man confessed honestly. 0

Lu Fei Fan could tell from his tone that he wasn’t lying. He asked, “How many of you are there?” 0

“There are about a dozen of us.” Before he could finish, Lu Fei Fan knocked him out with a swift strike. 0

The other man attempted to draw his gun, but Lu Fei Fan was faster, striking his neck and knocking him unconscious as well. 0

Lu Fei Fan approached the entrance of the Iron Tower. The distorted and deformed Tower Gate had been forcefully pulled aside, clearly blown open by someone with brute strength. He stepped through the Tower Gate and found himself in a large hall filled with dust. Aside from some dilapidated mechanical structures, there was nothing remarkable inside the tower. 0

“Hm?” Lu Fei Fan noticed a staircase extending downward in the center of the tower. 0

Was it really a passage to the underground? 0

Lu Fei Fan carefully descended the stairs, holding the Whale Devouring Sword. Upon reaching the underground, he found the space to be extremely vast, with two entrances on either side ahead of him. 0

After hesitating for a moment, Lu Fei Fan chose the left entrance. However, what lay before him was a long and deep corridor, indicating that this was a complex underground structure resembling a maze. 0

As Lu Fei Fan ventured into the maze, three others arrived at the entrance of the Iron Tower. 0

"These two seem to have been knocked out," Treyzer said, retracting his fingers from checking their pulse and standing upright. 0

"It looks like there must be some treasure inside," the cute Loli Sebella speculated, pressing her finger to her lips. 0

"Let's go take a look," Rod said as he stepped inside first. Sebella followed closely behind, while Treyzer remained vigilant, scanning the surroundings. Once he noticed nothing unusual, he cautiously turned and entered the tower. 0

But what secrets lay hidden within the mysterious Metal Tower's maze? 0
